Talking of unknown keepers I remember Phil Stant playing up front for us when still in the army but do any of the older posters remember we had an emergency keeper in Elm Park days from the army who wasn't very good?

Yep I believe it may be Colin Court, Steve Death was in dispute with the club and refused to play (in fact never played again) and our second choice was injured.

1-1 vs Sw*ndon. Both goals were credited as OGs by the keepers.

That is a decent team when you think Maskel went on to score a lot of goals at Swinescum to get them into the premier. Danny Bailey was a decent player terrible haircut. I guess Floyd Streete was the weak link and jones and Richardson must have been near the end of there careers.

Jackson, agree, that team looks fairly decent. When I looked it up, was a bit surprised we only finished mid-table?

Btw, that keeper, Keeley, only made 6 apps for us, on loan.

Always a cracking day out at Selhurst Park. Allocated seating was abandoned that day - seem to recall loads of us crammed in at the back.
