I would say so. For all their smug gifs and idiot fans, they had a pretty awful team

Nah, Hull were spectacularly bad. Brizzle were just shit like Weds and Bolton.

The same Hull that beat West Brom today.

Ah ok, so that means they were good against us, thanks for clearing that up.

It was good fun today. Two sides who were never going to keep clean sheets made an entertaining game.

Walker 7 Made a good save near the end but is no Jaakola
Yiadom 7 good
Blackett 7 good
Moore 8 better than of late
O'Shea 6 gifted them the first goal and looked a few seconds behind the play
Kelly 8 did nothing wrong and scored that goal
Bacuna 8 looked a good footballer and man of the match
New boy 8 a better debut than Leigertwood
Barrow 6 he behaved himself but was anonymous
Baldock 7 battled manfully all game
Meite 10

The subs were good and so was the crowd.

Hound Glad we can all agree on the ref

Utterly hopeless and seemed intent on giving Brizzle every opportunity to get the equaliser. Awful.

The Ref was utter shite, as was the East lino - personally I thought their first goal was o/s and need to see the replay.

Watched the replay on Sky. Yiadom played him onside by about a yard. Poor effort from him when everyone else’s is getting out quickly

Old Man Andrews
Royals and Racers Could someone who had a better view than me or watched it on TV tell me how far offside their player was for city`s first goal ??

Yiadom played him on.

Yes he did. It was a valid goal.

Hound Tbh those stats tell a misleading story of the game. Guessing most of those Brizzle shots were nowhere the goal or basically back passes

As accuarate as Stam's possession based game, i.e. 70%. With the ball in our own half the majority of the time.

Who cares. At least we are scoring goals. We are in a relegation scrap this season no point pretending otherwise. Clements sole priority is to keep us up. Providing the team battles as they did today. Then the fans will respond I'm sure.

Just watched it - lino got that right, onside (humble pie time). However given the calls he'd made in the run up to that one the complaints were justified.

rinomhota was immense. Broke up a lot of play, drove the team forward well with Bacuna.

City fans can fck off. The bloke with no teeth and the boy from deliverance need a bullet. Not sure what those shirts were about but it seemed anyone wearing one was intent on being a cun.t.

What's that got to do with how they played against us about a month ago?

We are scoring goals. I think Norwich have only scored two goals more than us.
The fans also responded today. It was an exciting game with a real mix of skilful moments and poor play. A proper football match today.

Not too upset with Yiadom on the first, it's hard to get out quick enough to do much about that. Not sure the rest of the defence should be trying to play offside there with where he is and three Bristol players queuing up.

Second is a total pig, lucky bounce up off a block to fall to Bristol and then I think if Blackett doesn't try to tentatively get is leg up and clear then Walker takes that easily, as it is he hesitates as Blackett is in the way and Bristol pounce on the uncertainty. Difficult to ask your keeper to wipe out your own player and risk a kick in the face there, but wish he'd been braver and saved my blood pressure.

Kelly involved in all our goals today.
1. Recycled the ball back into the box for Meite to pounce.
2. Showed to keep the ball alive and buried a beauty of a dipping swerver, no idea the technique for how he did that
3. Broke forward to feed McCleary, who played through to Bacuna beautifully, who spread to Mo, who set up Bacuna.

He's come in for some overly harsh criticism in recent months, although hasn't been in good form, but that was the sort of performance I want to see. Didn't stop hustling, kept the ball moving, dictated the rhythm and momentum at times, and did some real damage going forward. Freed up by the excellent Rinomhota keeping it simple perhaps?

Mostly agree with the Kelly praise, but there were still some properly brainless moments. One that sticks out was the free kick passed to Bacuna under pressure from 4 players, that ended up back at our keeper from inside their half. Not a bad player but his stature gets us in trouble too often.

We certainly didn't play well, but we were a lot better than we have been.

Play like that for the rest of the season and there's no way we'll go down. We won't be mounting a play-off challenge either, but there was a big difference between today and the gutless resigned-to-defeat performances we are used to.

We played well in the opening twenty minutes but badly lost our way when the equaliser went in.
It was a pretty even second half but we didn’t test their keeper at all.
There were a number of times when I was swearing under my breath when the ball came into our box and we didn’t properly deal with it. Blackett seemed particularly slowly to react at times.

Just because we made them look bad doesn't mean they're bad. Perhaps like Bristol today.

We're in poor form, we have yet to win 2 consecutive games in the league this season so I think it's only natural that our wins don't look very convincing, if we can string some results together, I imagine we'll start looking more comfortable, hopefully this continues with Ipswich on Saturday.

Also, all our wins this season we've scored 3 goals.

3-2 vs Preston
3-0 vs Hull
3-1 vs Millwall
3-2 vs Bristol City
