If it's off shouldn't that be a priority for the club to put on the official Reading FC site, but no news on that.

I do hope you are right. I have just phoned a few lads, who are driving up. They have just turned around.

I know someone who lives about 10 miles from Bolton and apparently it's been raining a bit this morning. So I don't think the game will be off for ice/snow.

80-90% chance it'll be on. Only chance of it being called off would be because of torrential rain.

Be surprised if this game gets played tonight - snowing heavily and no sign of stopping. Driving conditions hazardous.

quick check on weather.com says the horrible northern weather is now drying up with there being no rain from 6pm onwards.

Assuming if it hasn't already been called off, it won't be now

It's pretty treacherous around Stoke and its starting to settle as well.

Think a very wet pitch will suit us?

depends if it has moved from slick to muddy.

Knowing the general shitness of weather there, the pitch is probably well into the swamp stage by now

Away from the snow and 'is it on tv?' deb8s, WRTTTT, is this a 'must not lose', or a 'must win' game?

Win and jump out of the relegation zone, 1 pt ahead of Rotherham with significantly better goal difference. Draw and keep Bolton below us and narrow the gap to Rotherham by a point. Lose, drop a place but still be two points from safety.

Personally, I'd take a draw, although the consequences of losing are not completely dire at this stage. The home game vs Rotherham is likely to be more relevant.
