Stranded Change of ref for the weekend - a certain Mr Eltringham

Not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing

https://www.readingfc.co.uk/news/2019/m ... ch-town-a/

what? again? How has he managed to be involved in 2 of our games since the Mings incident?

I can only assume in this instance, the original ref D.England is either sick or injured so they've had to select from whatever refs don't have a game lined up and are available.

I am sure that Nelson will be wearing his mask, even if it isn't required!

Think we need to get over the Mings incident now, irrelevant who the referee is. We need to Just focus on the game not who is reffing it.

Did they give them away with the £5 comic relief shirts?

Its a good effort though - be a big boost to have a decent following

Stranded This match has draw written all over it. A game that both teams need to win and neither can really afford to lose played by 2 teams who have forgotten how to win.

Well four draws in our last six and four draws out of five against the bottom three certainly dont challenge that view.

Eltringham was due to be 4th official at Hull this weekend so no idea how this shit storm has happened, do these w*nkers at the FA have a single clue how to run the fcuking game?
This is a disaster just waiting to happen.

Agree. Potential for a 5-5 or 6-6 bore draw if ever I've known one.

Hopefully Ipswich are as rubbish in midfield, attack and defence as Rotherham were.

Judging by your usual opinions, I often think it's you that watches a completely different game

But then it only takes being rubbish to at least be good enough to stop Reading winning.

You are completely clueless. Rotherham were perfectly ok, far from rubbish.

In fact so far from rubbish that they lead Blackburn 1 - 0 at the moment!
