Ascotexgunner If anyone is interested.....there's a chance to grab your POTS red nose day training session worn shirt on eBay currently. Oliviera is currently at 405 quid......Moore's is 357....

I'm bidding on Rinomhotas and Loaders in the vague hope they beckme legends.

SCIAG Every goalkeeper who gets a decent run should save more than they concede. I think Jonathan Bond might have been an exception to that under Clarke but it's not a high bar.

Answering the question - Yiadom, Bodvarsson, Rinomhota for me. But we've had so much squad rotation that it's very difficult to pick anyone.

TBF Yiadom has been alright, but defensively he's very weak. Bod has been injured too long to be given a season long award. Rinomhota id agree with, but only if martinez drops a few into his net in the next few games. Academy midfielder he isnt, but he's single (double) handedly kept us in the division. Rino has been brilliant, but offered little in the grand scheme.

if you disagree, disregard. im well pissed.

Meite
Yiadom
Martinez

Haven't got one of these right since Gylfi won it and I'm still bitter over Ian Harte not winning it in 11/12 and Yann Kermorgant not winning it in 16/17.

Based on those clues I'm going to guess that you voted for:
2010-11: Leigertwood
2011-12: Harte
2012-13: McCarthy
2013-14: Danny Williams
2014-15: Michael Hector
2015-16: Norwood
2016-17: Kermorgant
2017-18: Barrow

Leigertwood losing to Long and Hahnemann losing to Hunt were the two that really rankled me.

Well I got Rinomhotas for the low, low price of 240 euro.

The only difference is I voted for

Alfie in 13/14
Jamie Mackie in 14/15
Nick Blackman in 15/16

Great guesses though.

Yeah that's the hardest period, no outstanding players in those seasons (which is probably ultimately why we had disappointing finishes!). Honestly couldn't tell you who I voted for then either.

Thought about going with Blackman because of that really weird spell where everything went his way, but wasn't sure anyone would have voted for him after he left in January.

I find it interesting you put meite first, care to expand on that? IMO he tries hard but hasn't had a good run of games or performances and his first touch is usually awful.. I agree with the other two along with rinomhota but I have to say I think martinez has saved us so many times since Jan that he deserves it...

PLAYER OF THE SEASON VOTING

It’s time to vote for the official Supporters’ Player of the Season 2018-19. As usual this is jointly organised by STAR and Reading FC and voting begins this week.

STAR will be placing voting cards and boxes for completed votes in the concourses ahead of the match versus Brentford this Saturday 13 April and again on Monday 22 April versus WBA.

Alternatively you can vote online via the Reading FC website now. Closing date is 5pm on 23 April. The votes will be counted by STAR and the winner presented with the award ahead of the last home game versus Birmingham City on 5 May.

Can you re-brand this as "BRING A PEN TO THE MATCH DAY" as that's often the biggest hurdle for me when it comes to casting a vote.

Rino's back playing so it's no contest again for my vote.

Rino really should win it. Yiadom has been a good signing but think some people like him so much because they're been used to watching Gunter for 7 years

John Swift, obviously, if Leeds stump up the reported £7 million quid!

Martinez for me - yep I know he's only been here for half a season, but genuinely believe without him we would be down. Second choice Yiadom

Yiadom for finally eradicating Chris Gunter from the starting line up.

Apologies for such a late reply. He puts 100% into literally everything he does, it's the same reason everyone loved Tabb and Karacan.
That's the first thing I look for in a Reading player, especially when the team are struggling.
Other than that he has scored some vital goals for us this season and adds height and strength in both boxes much like Kermorgant.
