Forestieri given 5 game ban.

No manager yet and other injuries. We should be taking the points here.

He's appealing the ban and will be able to play, pending the appeal.

3pts nothing less for us. Im confident we are going to surprise a few people who are tipping us to struggle this season.

With Blackett out, I'd imagine the team being a bit like the following.

Virginia

Morrison
Miazga
Moore
Yiadom

Adam
Rino

Olise
Swift
Barrow

Meite

Don't think this will be an easy game at all, Wednesday players are going to probably come here angry after the events there this summer and feel they have a point to prove. The Bruce situation could work to their advantage, at least initially. Expecting a really close game.

Hey...glass half full as opposed to being glass shattered.

Looking forward to a really good game.

I'm all for being optimistic but then remember we are reading and drew with a yeovil team a few years back that had 8 or 9 men.

Low score draw for me. 1-1. Neither team happy, neither team convincing.

No idea on the line up Gomes will put out. Have to hope it won't be the one his pre-season suggests.

Hoping he starts Baldock. I know he isn't a world beater or anything but I trust him more than Loader or Novakovich right now.

Can't wait to shove it all up the pundits arses this season. You watch, ten games in, we'll be the 'surprise package'

Listened to the not the top 20 podcast last night and it makes me want us to prove people wrone even more.

They're talking about the championship on Talksport just now. They picked 5 clubs to talk about and at the end, Jason Cundy said what about Reading? I saw them play on Sunday and I was really impressed with how they passed the ball through the middle and that we've made some good signings. He expects us to do better than expected.

He was doing the commentary for Chelsea TV and from the highlights on YouTube he was also quite complimentary about us. It's nice to hear at least one person in the media sticking up for tinpot Reading.

Get the impression Morrison is starting from his comments today

Loader/Olise/Adam is the other call IMO. Otherwise I think the rest are spot on
