MIght be a silly question, but is this the same guy who won three world cups?

If so he'll be a great signing, if fit.

Old Man Andrews Our supporters have to up there with the most embarrassing in the world on social media. Middle aged men wetting themselves over players they have never heard of in their lives, really laughable stuff.

This is a time to reserve judgement and calm down.

We really do have some helmets on social media don't we.

Never heard of him. Never seen a clip of him. Don't even know who he played for.

If he plays well good. I won't cream myself over him.

NewCorkSeth You have to have a lot of balls to call yourself Pele.

I actually saw Pele's son (Joshua Nascimento) play in a US College Soccer game at Clayton State University in Morrow, Georgia. Sadly Pelé wasn't there to watch!

Was he any good?

Well yes that is generally how forums work. There is a subject and you comment on it. If you need any further advice let me know.

With all that free viagra he gets, I'd imagine he'd be up for it.

"It is early to say, but it is a great team and if I have a chance to stay, I'll stay. They have given me everything so far. In football everything changes in one day so it is too early to say.”

If he continues as he's been playing that I am all in for him staying.

Agreed. He’s been excellent recently recently

Really didn’t rate him or understand his role at the start of the season but am now putting that towards Gomes’ tactics not particularly suiting him. He’s been a revelation since Bowen has come in and is the exact sort of player we’ve missed now for a while

I think Bowen has made things a lot simpler for a lot of the players, Pele included. He is a CDM, thats all he needs to do for us. He isn't expected to be box to box and thefore we always have him in place to protect the defence.

Yeah. I got the feeling that Gomes expected everyone to be fluid and fill in for each other, take on responsibilities based on where they were and what was required at the time.

It all just ended up confused, disjointed and structure less

Hopefully Dellor will pull his head out of his arse and start referring to him as Pele now

Just seen on Facebook, fans comparing Pele with Baker.

Different type of player,Baker just controls games,Pele better defensively.

Would love Baker back.Imagine this front six.

Pele

Baker Adam Swift

Baldock (or Meite ) Jao

Where is Puscas? The clubs record signing will be playing when he is fit.

So you'd drop Ejaria when he's starting to deliver an end product? How about leaving it as it is, ya know with the four wins in a row?

Will he? Don't agree with that, should be third choice behind Joao and Baldock up front at the moment until he can prove himself off the bench

If we bring Baker back, it would surely be in place of Adam? Very similar skill sets; basically a long term replacement for him.

That formation with Pele, Adam, Swift and Baker is laughably bad and a waste of talent. Players with similar skill sets, no natural pace or width. No Ejaria, who is as good as any of them. This isn't fantasy football.
