SCIAGNotts Royal With away games we should def take a more defensive approach...
Back to 4-3-3/4-2-3-1
Pele DM, Rino high energy box to box, Swift/Ejaria AM
Then maybe Boye (who looks more of a winger than striker) 1 side, Meite the other, Puscas up top
The 4-2-3-1 is always best for pitch coverage, but you are reliant on your lone striker being good enough. Can Puscas play that role? No reason why not
Yep agree.
Assuming everyone's fit, bench of Virginia, Moore, Richards, Ejaria, Barrett, Olise, Joao. Capable of sticking with 4-3-3, or changing to 4-4-2, 3-4-3, or 3-5-2. Ejaria capable of covering Rinomhota, Swift, or the wingers.

Had nothing else to think about commuting in this morning so was thinking over the formations. Seeing how Joao and Puscas play, I do wonder if we really aren't playing to their strengths currently.
Be interesting if they've tried going complete about face and going 4-4-2 in training. Something like:
Rafael
Yiadom Miazga Moore Richards
Barrett Swift Rino Obita
Puscas Joao
Obviously thats missing out some big names. But it would provide proper width and get loads of good quality crosses in theoretically, which seem to be where the strikers might be best utilised. Also strengthens us defensively down the flanks where we seem to be conceding a lot from.
Maybe not as a plan A, but I think it might be a better option at times.

Hound Didn't Barrett start out as a right winger? He has a lovely cross on him. Its a better idea than suggesting we drop statistically the best player in the division and the scorer/assister of 70% of our goals this season anyway
Need to put a bit of faith in Joao. After a big kick up the arse that is. Him and Puscas are our most likely I think

Hound I certainly don't think thats what Jose had in mind a few weeks ago (4-4-2) but I do genuinely think it is an option to go to. Sounds like we did it a bit last night
Assuming we stay 3-5-2 on Sat - think MIazga has to come back in. Blackett is a natural LCB, so think that Miazga/Moore/Blackett would be the way to go.

NewCorkSeth As bad as I feel saying it my preference right now, if all fit, would be:
Miazga---Morisson---Blackett
