tidus_mi2 Has the commentator been told to do a Sean Connery impression everytime he says Puscas?

Like that :D

Gomes struggling a bit with the pundit lark. Still nice for him to say what a good pro Baldock is. Faint praise but means well I’m sure

Royal Rother
URZZZZ Good display although was disappointed with the last 10 minutes

Rafael - 6

Yiadom - 6
Miazga - 5
Morrison - 6
Moore - 7
Richards - 5

Rino - 7
Swift - 7
Ejaria - 8

Puscas - 7
Baldock - 7 I do know something after all

McCleary - 7 looked incredibly sharp tbf

Fair enough but I really don’t rate Puscas that highly. Any + marks for his goal wiped out by giving away possession so pathetically for their 1st goal.

Yeah I think I’m being slightly too high on Ejaria and Puscas there but I’m just happy with the point

Nah, think you’re near spot on. Ovie was immense first but didn’t see much second. Puscas was a lot better all round in the second and won quite a few headers. Think the direct game suits him

Thought Swift had a very good all round game inc defensively but gave the ball away stupidly 2 or 3 times

Prob give Baldock motm just about. Thought he was excellent

Overall delighted to see us being so aggressive and in their faces. It’s a world away from how passive we have been before Bowen. Huge difference in attitude. It’s what’s needed in our situation

Hound Why did QPR take off Wells out of interest? Bizarre decision and looked totally toothless afterwards

Agreed
Bizarre unless injured

Very strange.

Or possibly underestimating us?

Bizarre.

Even with Gomes we got a draw against table topping Swansea away.

With a (sorry Gomes!) more astute manager in Bowen we have just beaten a potentially table topping side and drawn away against another one.

We are a very good side but people don’t realise it thanks to a bizarre run of losses we shouldn’t have had.

Thoroughly enjoyable game. It was like watching a Reading team of old..,.not too much pissing about. I’m happy with that and with a little improvement, over time we'll start picking up points. 3 at home and 1 away will do me!

Yeah thought we handled him quite well. Ejaria was untouchable first half but did fade a fair bit

royalsteve Pubs in reading suck, can’t find any showing the game, which is why I boycott most pubs in reading. Complete joke.

Found a pub in Pittsburgh, PA who were more than happy to show the game :D

PLENTY to be positive about.

Bowen game management spot on - Gomes would have thrown on another 2 strikers at 2-1 down.

Players look to be trusting each other with their instinctive passes. Improvement from Saturday, solid first 2 games in charge.

We’ve brought 2 in-form teams back down to earth over the past few days. Bring on Forest

No other live sports were on in the eastern time zone at the time. Wouldn't have happened if the Steelers/Penguins/Pirates were playing. Nice that they dialed it up for you though. But anyhoo did the locals enjoy the game? :D

Well we had 1 tv for the Reading game, the others were showing a myriad of Champions League games.

Oh absolutely, we are staying here for the penguins game tonight :D

They did actually, were quite interested in a game which wasn’t the premier league!

No idea of the wording on the agreement but Liverpool must be keeping an eye on his progress, among other teams

So what. It's October and our form is on the increase. Don't really care what position we are at the moment.

Yes it was announced at the time that he becomes a full Reading player on 1st July 2020 by both clubs.

Which is fine given we were 22nd when Bowen took over - 4 pts and a minimum 2 point gap to a relegation zone we were in on Saturday morning is a great start.

Table is incredibly tight still, so a run of decent form (after Forest the games start to look very winnable) and we could be up in mid-table pretty quickly. If course, we could easily get cut adrift if form goes the other way,
