Hound Just watched the highlights - brilliant from Puscas for the second - quality goal. Nice finish on the third as well

The tackle for the penalty - lolz. WTF was that? Joker defending

Fantastic feet for the second and a good finish. That pen looked quite saveable on first viewing. Queuing up for the third after great work from McCleary. That's the second time his pressing has won us a goal.

That penalty though... hit his hand, went straight through Boye... we could have had two.

I can't remember us looking so poor away from home and being behind but pinching a win.

Buzzing. Top result and great away day.

From Despair To Where? Craig Maskell I think, in a 4-2 win at Darlington in the early 90s.

Seriously? No, must be one since

Otherwise

It was certainly the case about 10 years ago and for the life of me, I can't think of anyone doing
it since then.

What can I say though, Soccerbase tells me it was March 1992 and for extra nerd points, I think we wore the red convict arrows away kit that day. This monstrosity, in fact.

So we revert to the good old fashioned 4-4-2 system and bang in three quick goals!! makes for a good plan B i guess...its not that fashionable these days, but i must admit you can't beat having pacey wingers causing havoc down the sidelines with two sharp center forwards banging them in ....the good old days :D

Remember Kerry Dixon getting 4 at Doncaster (but we lost!) but before then I think

NewCorkSeth I never doubted Puscas.

Or Bowen, you have always thought he was great.

Or Boye. No. I cant lie. I still doubt him.

Boye is quality, how can you doubt him!

Don’t suppose we have a recall clause on Barrow in January. Puscas really looks like he’d thrive on proper wingers pinging early balls into the box. Not sure Bowen would be brave enough to drop either Swift or Ovie and regularly play 4-4-2

Admittedly my stream did freeze off but I thought it was more of a 4-4-1-1/4-2-3-1 with Joao playing off Puscas rather than them as a duo together. Either way, it's a lot better than 5 at the back IMO

Playing with actual width = Actually creating chances. Who'd have thought, ey

why would I love him?....just stating the coincidence

(remember, I contribute nothing here....I leave the ‘expert’ opinions to you and ‘Ian’)
