Don`t panic, we have 49 points, not many teams go down on 50 points let alone 55.

Barnsley, currently BOTTOM are on target for 45+

IMO, it's quite likely that 3rd bottom will have 50+ points

We are still 14th, we could end up around 20th if things go badly (which would feel like no progress again) but at least one side below us will go bad.

That result yesterday for Hull could finish them off, lose at Boro next up and they won't catch us with their run in.

They`re at home to boro, but away to west brom and bristol city to follow. I`m staggered we are still talking about the dangers of relegation from our position, but not surprising after what we`ve witnessed in previous seasons.

There would be a certain irony if we finally dropped in a season we've looked pretty safe having hung on in seasons where we looked doomed at points.

Serious question. Has any team been relegated from our position ever? i.e. 14th (or 15th if Weds get at least 1pt) with a 7pt gap with 7 games to go?

Seriously there is prob about a 5% chance we'll go down. About 30 or 40 results would have to fall in exactly the right way.

WestYorksRoyal Tbf, a few more bad results at Charlton and Luton and we could get dragged back in.

We will probably lose Tuesday and that will bring the bed wetters out in force but in reality there is virtually a zero chance of us going down, we only need 6 points, if that.

To go down, we will need to lose all 4 games to the teams below us and prob pick up no more than 2 pts from the other 3. If that happens then we deserve it.

If we manage to go down from where we are now with the fixtures we have left, then as you rightly say, boy do we deserve it!

We would have to lose all games and even then we could still stay up.

It’s not like we’ve played badly in the last 2 either

We’ve not been amazing but have done ok and could have easily come out with 4 points

Plus we’ve played 2 teams who were in form, albeit before the break. You’d have to say Derby have a better team than us at this point, so was always likely to lose the game. And Stoke aren’t considerably worse than us although we should have won that.

Some of the comments I’ve seen on Twitter are laughable, about continuing our losing habit. We’ve lost 1 out of the last 4.

We’ll beat Huddersfield and Luton so will be safe

Hudders have just been smashed 3-0 as well. Be worried if I was them - new manager bounce is long gone

We could have come out of this with 6 points. We should have been ahead before Derby scored.

Thats the way it goes sadly, we lost so in many peoples eyes it equates to a poor performance
apart from the suicidal minutes before HT it was a highly commendable showing.

Really?

I thought we looked ok in patches looked extremely weak in midfield and threw the points away with a very ill disciplined few minutes.

I’m not sure we were weak in midfield. Possession was 50% and it wasn’t Stam ball knocking it around the back

My mine issues were lack of chance creation and yep 5 idiotic Ill disciplined minutes - the 2 main features generally of why we haven’t been more successful this season

Seen the highlights now and I really think Miazga should have taken a proper swing at Lawrence. I mean if youre going anyway don't get sent off for a slap!

Or can you get a longer ban for a better punch?!

Also, it was after the game. At what point do you throw a punch/slap and not get a red? In the tunnel? In the changing room? In the car park?

Found your Federici replacement then. Look forward to you deciding to hate Olise as a counterbalance like you did with McCarthy.

Same schtick, 5 years on.

He’s still not got over it has he Snowflake? Simply because most of us pointed out Ejaria has been ineffective, and he doesn’t agree, he now thinks we all want to blame Ejaria...bit pathetic really!

You can be very talented but ineffective...it’s hard to argue Ejaria is anything but that right now. Hopefully that will change
