Old Man Andrews Chris Martin is officially now available on a free! We need to strike whilst the iron is hot!

Now 31 and struck 11 in 36 league appearances this last season. Now he’s over his illness problem then he’s probably as good as the club might be able to afford.

I would rather stick with Baldock

Best to strike whilst the iron is stone cold.

Was going through ‘personal issues’ during his loan spell with us....no wonder he was loaned out...Reading the xuckers as usual.

What would his last seasons 11 goals have done for us?

No he wasn't. He had a flair up of inflammatory bowel disease while here which is largely unpredictable.

It came from Martin speaking in public iirc.

A quick google confirms it's in multiple papers.

Your apology is appreciated.

You are both right, shake hands and make friends.

Unless his 11 goals turned up in games against teams that Reading drew against or lost out to. See if Reading had had Chris Martin last season it’d have been in the play offs

But even then it would depend on who he was replacing....
is this retrospective buying of goals an actual thing ?

Just think what would have happened if we'd accidentally bought him for the games he didn't score and replaced Meite in the games he scored with him.

We'd have been bottom.
