Zip We look more balanced with Pele in the side.

Yep. Said that the other day when he was missing. Look at the top teams, most of them build around that defensive midfield position.

Real Madrid have Casemiro, Man City have Fernandinho, Liverpool have Fabinho and lots of other teams have good defensive midfielders whose names don't end in O.

Seeing the benefit of Rino box to boxing it.

Still think we look pretty poor tbh, it's just really easy against Luton.

Luton are awful but we have been much more positive. We have been sitting too deep in previous games. Luton’s defence is unbelievably bad for this level though.

Not wanting to argue about it, but what I'm seeing is huge amounts of time and space. Easy to be positive and attack when given that and the ball back all the time. We've give the ball away really cheaply under no pressure, whereas Brentford made the game really hard and forced errors.

Essentially, I just fear that people see the scoreline and think we've really improved and then get angry when we have a poor result in the next game because this is about the opposition's lack of quality not our ability.

Anyway. 3 points is 3 points and basically safety.

This game represents the end of Liam Moore. Hopefully we can get £5m for him and McIntyre can replace him.

I think we have been more positive and in fairness it has been much easier to be so because the opposition is so poor. We wouldn’t have this much time and space against a better side but I don’t think you can knock a 3-0 score line.

Sutekh Disappointing Stoke are beating Barnsley though.

If it stays like this, which is looking likely, we'll be 12 ahead of Luton, 11 ahead of Barnsley and effectively 14 ahead of Wigan with 5 to play.

That assumes somebody will come in with a decent offer. I would be surprised if a PL club came in for him.

Puscas last December at Wigan for the first one.

Cant remember the last time a Reading player got a first half hattrick home or away.

We will be safe on 52 points especially as teams below us will need 53 to finish above us.

I want McIntyre to prove his fitness first.....I want him to start every game til the end of the season.
Be sad to lose Miazga but we need to build a stable partnership at the back starting with him and Morrison.

With Gomes in the team frees him up.

Blackett is underrated. Good positioning and passing today.

This is the problem with us though. By and large we change every week by saying “x player is good” then he’s trash, we drop him and replace with someone else who has a good game, then a bad game.

There’s not a huge amount of consistency in individual performances from players. Morrison and Yiadom probably the best in that sense.

Been a journeyman for a reason. Key position to fill in Bowen's recruitment drive.
