Interesting* point so far this season. Luton and us have 6 points. We have played and beaten the same two teams.

Derby could be in real trouble.

The Luton cup side looked pretty weak (albeit many changes) and their team last season looked pretty awful in the 5-0. I think they benefited a lot from the break in he season. So losing to them is not a good sign. And against us Derby looked devoid of effort, ideas or quality.

I would be amazed if Luton finish top half

Given the injury problems now, the last 3 weeks or so of the window are going to be very interesting for Reading. How much wheeling and dealing might there be to get as much cover as possible?

Owners might be happier to back Pauno after three straight league wins

Squad photo released: https://www.readingfc.co.uk/news/2020/s ... quad-photo

Interestingly* no Smith or McNulty in the picture - which given the number of academy players in it would suggest they are outta here in the coming days.

Also first sighting of our new CEO, I think.

Well, well, well. Who was I arguing over Holmes' height with? Doesn't look the supposed giant here does he. In fact, he looks an inch or so taller than the 6ft1 McIntyre and an inch or so shorter than the 6ft3 Joao..

I may have made up those heights but imma stick with it.

I presume that is Dai Yongge on VP’s left, or might it be Dayong Pang?

If that is João to his right then Holmes is at least the same height and he’s at least 2 inches taller than McIntyre. Presumably living in France you struggle with English units of measurement ....

If the season were to end prematurely (next week) does that mean we'd go up?

Perhaps. It is a rather useless unit of measurement seeing as there is 2.54 cms in an inch meaning someone who is 178cm, someone who is 179cm and someone who is 180cm are all 5ft10.

Anyway if you think there looks to be 2 inches difference between McIntyre and Holmes I can only presume you think Sam Walker is about 4 inches taller than Holmes which, by my calculation puts him at a respectable 6ft7...

I believe so yes. He is head of Sports Science at the club.

Wasn't one of the rumours about people hating on Bowen that he brought his son back off Furlough before other senior staff.

Can't imagine why anyone would think the Head of Sports Science should be in the first wave back to get everyone fit and ready for the restart. Totally dodge.
