Probably Basingstoke, my Grandad used to be on their board or something.

Really don't know. Supported Reading for as long as I could kick a ball. I was born in Connahs Quay so possibly them or Chester but I moved away when I was 3 so have absolutely no affinity with either place.

I used to get dragged to see them as a child in the 70s because of family. Post 1973 to 86 they really were rubbish...
Their best players like George and Kennedy left, they were in danger of going dow.
Still went to see them when Reading weren't at home or couldn't go away, up until 2010 when family couldn't go anymore. Loved the early Wenger years but I just couldn't support them. Never felt right.

JR My side as a youngster and at uni was Leicester - very much a second side now as have been Royals season ticket holder since 2004.

In a bit of a dreamland at the moment topping both tables!

snap, also at Leicester Uni. But I was there 1979-83, when Gary Lineker was scoring for fun (and Leicester still got relegated).

Still look out for their scores.

Probably no one.

I only started following Reading because I was a child when I was brought to the club and I thought that it was a fun day out and I found all those naughty songs super funny. Then I turned 8 or 9 years old and realised that live football is a truly wretched pastime. Still I stuck at it for another 10 or 15 years because I lacked the creativity to find something better to do with my weekends. Sort of like an really unhealthy, abusive relationship that you simply can't escape because you think it's important then you finally get away and change your hair and wonder what all the fuss was about. In my case, though, I didn't change my hair, I just put on 10 stone and can't fit in the seats any more.

Started watching Reading regularly in 1974. In those early days when Reading were away I occasionally tried watching Aldershot or Wokingham. Soon got that out of my system! When I moved out of the area I watched Yeovil and Bristol City a few times but invariably found myself wanting them to lose. I did enjoy watching Bristol Rovers in the Gerry Francis era, went to quite a few away games as I had friends who were Gasheads. More recently I have tried Crawley a couple of times, but couldn't get the buzz you need to get behind a team. Having survived the last 3 seasons of turgidity, it's pretty clear I really am Reading 'til I die!

I don’t need to. My mother keeps calling me from the Crowthorne bus to tell me what happened. I keep threatening to removed her access to her grandchildren but she won’t leave me be.
