Not injured but can't see Puscas being involved on Friday given he's starting for Romania today

Does Swift actually bring anything that Olise doesn't other than his free kick taking skills. I am just not sure who we would drop to make him fit, he does bring another option though and rotation for fitness which is much needed. but I am not sure anyone is worth dropping to fit him in.

I would still go as our strongest line up-
-------------------------Rafael------------------------
Yiadom--Morrison----Moore-----Richards
-------Rinhomota---------Laurent---------------
--Meite--------------Olise---------------Ejaria----
-----------------------Joao-----------------------------

But a bench of Southwood, Holmes, Mcintyre, Swift, Semedo, Puscas and Esteves atleast gives us options.

if we dont get promoted this year we are going to have to recruit some players this year a LB for sure and someone that can do what Meite does when he is injured is a priority he brings such a different dimension to the team less of the trickery of Ejaria and Olise and more that pacey bulldozer and he is missed when not in the team. I want players that will run through there defenders if needed not just try a step over and trickery.

Olise has a higher ceiling in terms of potential and will go on to play at a higher level. But in terms of here and now Swift is far more the finished product and is definitely in our best team.

Swift has a better range of passing, better reading of the game, and offers more defensively.

Olise is also in a bad run of form.

Swift adds more in bringing the ball out through midfield and controlling tempo. But is less effective further up the pitch and doesn't have the legs.

Swift's got a slightly better direct free kick but Olise's got a better corner and crossed freekick

It's much of a muchness.

In terms of who you'd drop it would surely be Ejaria, or maybe Rinomhota if the opposition aren't the strongest.

....Rino, Laurent
Meite, Swift, Olise

....Swift, Laurent
Meite, Olise, Ejaria

Just daft to drop our second best goal contributor.

Sorry but I fail to see what any of this has to do with chocolate bars.

I am on a similar page I dont think olise is as good down the left as Ejaria and I wouldnt drop Rino especially with our up and coming fixtures there are no easier games I could highlight till the end of the season.
It is nice to have Swift back even if it is to fit in wherever we have an injury he is a better option than Semedo in any of those 5 positions.

I doubt we'll ever actually get to a stage where we have all 6 of those midfielders fully fit. Swift will need a few games to get back in the swing you'd think

Moore and Holmes will prove themselves to be the best central defensive partnership since Hicks and Wood.

For half an hour until one or both of them get injured.

No problem, Gibson and Dorsett will easily step up.

I reckon Josh Laurent would do a decent job at centre back as an emergency cover. Good footballing brain.
