NewCorkSethPepe the HorsemanNewCorkSeth But he isnt 29. He's 28.
He's a lot nearer 29 than he is 28. That's a fact.
He's 28. Now that is a fact.

Why am I not surprised that fractions are beyond you? The day after his birthday, he is no longer 28.

He's 28 until he becomes 29. That's how it works.

Should the thread header be changed every year on his birthday so nobody gets confused and thinks he's still 27 when he isn't?Millsy The thing with age is every year it goes up by 1. So if you're 26 this year for example, next year you'll be 27, the following year 28, the year after that 29 etc.

I counted my son's age in weeks, and then months until he was older than 1 ... he definitely wasn't '0 years old' until his first birthday.

I couldn't work out whose side he was on tbh, although let's not let that distract us from the fact that you think £1.75 should be rounded down to £1.

Snowflake Royal Koreans measure age from fertilisation, and everyone changes age on the first day of the new year.
So Koreans are born age 1. And a Korean born in late December will be 2 years old within days of their birth.

Good suggestion Forbs.
Thanks SDR (!!), that'd be appreciated.

Snowball Reading "Humble Pi" by Matt Parker, all about math errors
Fair bit on birthdays and who is how old. Good stuff.
It's often about is zero a number?
I like this one. A man starts work at 8AM, has floors 8-12 to clean, so thinks one hour, one floor, right?

I don’t get it.
