I was adamant from the start I wouldn’t want to go whilst it’s reduced capacity and the various regs, but now seeing them there makes me a bit

Yer man from The Tilehurst End spoke very well on the TV, certainly much better than I could do.

I'm so PUMPED for today's game! Fans being allowed back adds an extra element.

WoodleyRoyal How is swift going to fit into this side when fit. That is the biggest question for me. Laurent rino olise and ejaria are undropable at the moment. Possible ejaria would make way

I think you’re right with Ovie being the one to probably drop out. What it does do, it gives us a) options from the bench b) cover for any injuries.

Also if we’re playing against a weaker side which sets out to contain us, you might play Swift over Rhino or Laurent, just to add that bit of creativity and the need not to play 2 defensively minded players (compared to Swift).

Pretty sure he'd drop Olise. He's been the first to make way in general. Often first subbed. Was on the bench for a while with Semedo and Ejaria playing iirc

And issued with “clappers” apparently.

Wonder how long before the fan starts getting on the player’s backs though?

It’ll work itself out with swift. There will either be injuries, players needing a rest, or having been sold. He’ll get back in somewhere

Apparently this is the lowest attendance at the madejski for a league game. :| Considering where we are in the table that’s pretty poor. 9 months since the last time fans were allowed in I would have expected better.

Alternatively, when was the last time Reading had a “capacity” crowd for a home league game outside the PL 8)

Decent effort so far for 2000 fans spaced out that much wearing masks.

Why does the pitch look so shit. The egg chasers aren’t playing on it this season. Do our women’s team have particularly burley players :?:
