WestYorksRoyal
Mid Sussex Royal
3points Does suggest we should have a run of decent fixtures at the back end of the season, so just need to stay in the mix over the next few games

Sadly not - Watford, Norwich & Swansea are 3 of last 4 or 5 I believe

We can definitely beat Swansea at home with a fit side. Draw at Watford, lose to Norwich. Hopefully that's enough to get over the line given the run of fixtures before then.

windermereROYAL Oliver Langford in charge for the city game,

No chance of getting a penalty v Bristol then. I doubt Langford would give us one even if a Bristol players got a gun out and shot one of our players.

Could actually work in our favour. Presumably he knows how badly he fcuked up against Sheff Wed, so he might want to redeem himself.

4pts from 4 games so far.

Let’s hope Langford doesn’t have a mare on Tuesday.

We're playing Bristol at the right time!

skipper We're playing Bristol at the right time!

Trouble is, when a team gets thrashed like that, there is ofteh a backlash and they take it out on their next opponents!

True. This game should be fun, as both teams need to sort out dodgy periods.

7pts from 5 tough games

Not a bad return. Need at least a point from Boro on Saturday. I’ve got faith we’ll get all 3.

After the weekend we play: 24th, 21st, 10th, 22nd, 17th, 23rd, 18th.

I think we need to be picking up the points in the next 6 games, as everything from & including QPR onwards will be more difficult.

Next 6

Middlesbrough
Wycombe
Rotherham
Blackburn
Sheff Wed
Forest

Birmingham >perennial bogey team<

QPR
Barnsley
Derby
Watford
(I don't like the look of this stretch of games... As all 4 are resurgent recently. Let's hope their form dies off!)

Cardiff
Luton
Swansea
Norwich
Huddersfield

Barnsley were resurgent under the new man but sliding back to mean a little. Their great win at Brentford is their only win in 6 - there are no games left that I don't think we can take a result from.

I hadn't realised Barnsley had only won once in 6. My bad.

It's our recently Millwall game, where we looked knackered that kinda makes me think some of these games will be tough. Though, dare I say it now in hindsight - Had we switched the team a little more for Millwall, we might have beaten them!

Millwall was one of those things. We had chances, another day Joao connects with Olise's pass a little cleaner and we are 2 up or we make a better decision at points in the 2nd e.g. Olise shooting when Holmes was steaming into the box on the overlap. Results like that happen and will again this season but the key thing is that this team seem able to take them on the chin and come back strong.

Millwall are one of those sides that can just grind you down. Tbf they didn’t really have many chances and their goals both had a fair share of luck to them as well. It’d have been a fantastic 1-0 win if we’d held on to it

They’re on a decent run themselves as well
