Another northern shithouse team that won`t give us an inch, file under Stoke Preston and Middlesbrough who we failed to score against in 6 matches.

Someone on twitter just said that before last night's game, if you took away the first 8 games of the season for every team we would have been 6th. That seems odd. Is it true?

URZZZZ Rotherham played a 3-5-2 tonight so would look to match them. Advocated this formation as a temporary measure before Wycombe as I don’t feel the 4-2-3-1 is currently serving us well, and support it even more so after tonight’s result. Would be tempted to start Joao from the bench for this one but Paunovic clearly doesn’t trust Baldock

Rafael

Yiadom
Moore
Morrison
McIntyre
Richards

Laurent
Rinomhota
Ejaria

Joao
Puscas

Southwood Esteves Holmes Gibson Tetek Semedo Aluko Olise Baldock

What a team on paper

Who is going to take the free kicks and corners?

Whoever fancies it, they hardly set the world on fire last night.

Fair point but there is literally nobody in there who you might regard as a specialist and it's a big part of the game. On the plus side at least we might score a penalty if Puscas is playing.

quite like that team. Ejaria is decent enough on the set pieces. Do feel its time to start Puscas

Snowflake Royal If Pauno plays Rinomhota as a forward again, he can oxf*rd off.

I don't mind a losing run or poor performances. It happens, it's been a good season. I do mind the manager making oxf*rd ludicrous decisions that cost us what should be comfortable points.

Swift and Meite being out is no excuse. Stop oxf*rd about and pick the best TEAM with players in the right position. And if you've got a hard choice in one position oxf*rd make it. Don't crowbar in both options and disrupt the rest of the side in doing so.

Useless.

Seems like what you are saying is:
Rafael
Yiadom/Holmes
Morro
McIntyre
Richards
Rinomhota
Laurent
Aluko
Olise
Ejaria
Joao

?

Don't care. Here's my rules.

If Rino plays, he plays DM.
If McIntyre and Holmes play, one of them has to be CB, they cannot both be full backs.
Joao cannot take another penalty until next season, or two other players miss one.

At least one attacking substitute must be used by 70 mins if we aren't winning, unless there is a glaring reason why not.

Fuk talking about groups of games. WNG mfers.

Wouldn`t have thought so, we`ve won 8 drawn 5 and lost 11 since then.

It is incorrect, we would be 15th

But bafflingly over the last 20 games we are 7th. So games 9, 10, 11 and 12 are the problem..

Yep, does show that the team has the ability to bounce back after a dodgy period.

We never really bounced back though did we.

We've won two games in a row once since. But we've lost two games in a row 3 times.

Well it speaks to how other teams have performed but since those 4 defeats in a row we are 7th in the table. That's a big bounce back from 15th if you include those games.

We've already had a lot of chat about how everyone in the top 10 was doing badly and the bottom lot were on a run a little while back.

We're 5th, possibly soon to be 6th, because that is where we currently deserve to be. If we had beaten Wycombe 1-0 last night but lost 1-0 at home back at the start of the season for example, this wouldn't even be a conversation.

You may want to call it steadying the ship I guess. Now the question now really is, has the ship taken on too much water or can we still bail out.
