Stranded
Royal_jimmy That was a lucky win but will take it

Why lucky? What did they create?

It wasn't amazing you watch but excellent pressing in the first half brought about a goal and we had a couple of other chances. 2nd half, solid defence and waiting for the error from them to try and break. The error always came, the break didn't.

Playing a different formation and getting the run of home defeats off our back, will take it especially when our talismanic striker was totally off his game, bar his clear thinking to set up Puscas.

Pressure on Bournemouth and Barnsley tomorrow now.

Yeh not lucky at all really. Comfortable really but do feel like we shouldn't have gone so defensive.

Keep one of the best attacking teams to 2 shots on target. Job done!

Josh Laurent was quietly good again - such a good Championship midfielder

That was a hard fought, proper graft from our lot.

Make no mistake, the squad hasn’t got depth. But my word this squad is unique with players filling in and capable of playing various positions and all fighting for the cause.

That wasn’t comfortable. Credit to Blackburn. But my word if we can hit some form with Puscas playing like that, Meite, Araruna and others returning as more ‘utility’ players. We have half a chance against tired legs if we make playoffs.

My heart hasn’t stopped racing yet, but nevertheless:

Rafa A couple of real ricketts second half ,after a good first half.Lucky boy.

Yids My MOM. Reliable throughout.
Morrison. Missed him when he went off. However Holmes stuck at it.
Moore Very shaky game.
Richards Some classy moments, but there were a number of times he was caught out.
Laurent The game seemed to pass him by.Running on empty.
Semedo Probably his best game for us.I thought he kept at it throughout.
Olise Please take him off corners and free kicks.Everyone was awful. He just couldn’t get on the ball.Another one running on empty.
Ejaria Started first half badly. But thereafter our most dangerous player after that.Always dangerous on the ball.
Jao Looks shot.He was awful .
Puskas Great first half ,but then perhaps not suprisingly ran out of gas.

McIntyre Zero effect.I always hate going defensive when there’s twenty minutes or so left.
Estevez One really great contribution late on.

I think Blackburn played so much better than us;as when they unloaded their bench their subs made a real positive impact. To up our game,we needed Aluko and Baldock ,real experienced attacking pros to come on and influence;but clearly Velcro doesn’t trust them and he isn’t a gambler. The initiative was clearly with Blackburn the moment Jao came off.

Brain Traysers Moore fell over and was scrambling to recover just as that cross came in, giving Armstrong that extra pocket of space

'Fell'?! He was hauled over by Armstrong, as highlighted by Sky, but officials failed to spot it!

4/5 felt too low considering the assist which helped win us the game

It was a good assist too. Did well to get the ball under his feet and timed the pass well.

Yeah I had assumed he had fallen (as I didn't see him go apesh!t at the ref for missing it), but happy to be proven wrong. Would have been a horrible goal to concede

Think they just got tangled up. Looked like Armstrong was about to help him up then realised he had an opportunity.

Two absolutely vital wins ground out when we're not really firing. Might not be the easiest of watches, but I'll take it! Puscas looked lively, could be massive getting him back firing these nest few weeks. Felt a bit like the start of the season where we were winning without scoring many, and right now the result matters more than the performance. Got a couple of breaks coming up too, so hopefully we can get a few back, and the likes of Laurent and Joao can put their feet up for a couple of days!

Thats what I saw too. Moore gave him a pat on the back after the shot went wide too.

If Morrison is added to the injury list. Then the bench is going to be even more depleted on Saturday. The lack of depth is going to cost us dear I fear. As the games tick by.
