Could Rafael be included in a few of these (or does he get his own section). Has he been booked this season? How about assists? Has he played every minute in the league? (Are these league only stats?)

Rafael, so far has failed to score a goal, get an assist, produce a through ball or a decent cross, or win a header.

His rating is 6.55 placing him 232nd in the league out of 341 qualifying

That seems a bit low to me.

Surprised there isn't a separate mini-league comparing keepers

Ove Ejaria and Michael Olise are currently in the team of the season

Yiadom is in team of the month.

Olise is second in the league for assists behind Norwich's Buendia

Top Goalscorers Currently

28 Toney Brentford Contribution 42%
25 Pukki Norwich - Contribution 39%
19 JOAO! Reading - Contribution 34%

LOSSES

After our brilliant 8-game start we lost four, as everybody is well aware

In fact, after the W7D1 first 8 the next 12 resulted in just 3 wins 2 draws, 7 defeats

Outside (either side of) that horrible middle patch (Games 9-20 ) we are

Played 27 Won 16 D7 L4 = 55 Points = Automatic Promotion Form

We are definitely a streaky side. 11 of out 12 losses came

4 in 4 games LLLL
3 in 4 games LWLL
4 in 5 games LLWLL

only the dumb loss at Birmingham is a lone defeat.

This strongly suggests a mental issue, a too-young side perhaps, or
Pauno's Achille's Heel.

Clearly, when it IS flowing, we are pretty much as good as Norwich and Watford.

It would be highly illuminating to see who was missing for these ugly short losing runs.

Form-Wise our next six opponents are

01 Watford
21 Cardiff
17 Luton
23 Swansea
02 Norwich
16 Huddersfield

We will never get a better chance to stuff the two Welsh teams
in quick succession

Filter just GKs playing 5 or more games you get 39 players with Rafael in 16th (6.55)

Krul (Norwich) leads with 6.89

Wildsmith (Sheff Weds) worst with 6.24

Given (i) Woodman (Swansea) comes below Rafael with 6.52 despite a league-high 18 clean sheets and clinging onto a playoff place thanks to defensive solidarity in the first half of the season, and (ii) the tiny range between highest and lowest score, its probably fair to say the WS rating is not a very good metric to evaluate goalkeepers, and especially weak at comparing against outfield players

Every more advanced metric I've seen puts Rafael as fine this season.

Think the fair play stats are fairly representative of what we are as a team, neat and technical but lack physicality and intensity.

Yep, a bit more fire-in-the-belly wouldn't go amiss

Forgot Meite scored 17 goals last year.Presumably we would have gone down without him.

Umm will I?

Some interesting enough stuff in there. Who scored does seem to overrate us a little bit but the margins are quite small

I stand by the aggregated rating being a fairly shit metric for anyone.

It's just pulling too many isolated stats that only give a slice of the picture and then assigning subjective value to them.
