Richards unlucky there. We just have not had a lot of luck this season what with injuries and so forth. Oh well 7th it is then.

Zip We haven’t been good enough for a long time. Desperately poor. Pauno needs to try and lift the players because I can see the season finishing very poorly.

This, been poor for the last few months, one dimensional, slow and Pornos substitutions always too late. Good season, very fast end.

CountryRoyal Season over. Not good enough. Don’t care about anyone else but I don’t want Pauno here next season.

We can’t keep changing managers. Pauno has improved us much as Bowen did. Not by anywhere near as much as some people think but we have improved. He deserves to stay on but I fear a poor end of season will see him gone.

SouthDownsRoyal
Greatwesternline Hate those sort of penalties. Clearly a foul, but what else can a defender do.

Agree, no intent

No intent and no contact either

Oh god.....can't vouch for Tetek but those 2 just show how thin this squad is on talent.

Just not very good. There is no high tempo in games, Reading very rarely look to take the game to the opposition and the general possession “safeball” is killing enjoyment. Still a 7th or 8th placed finish would have been acceptable to most before the start of the season. Have to hope the summer window brings players who are a bit more direct and a couple with pace would be helpful too.

Pauno shows no signs of personal improvement. Negative approach and clueless substitutions has cost us on a lot of occasions.

I think from where we were after eight games this is hugely disappointing. I’m just saddened that a team that has played some lovely football at times has fallen away so badly.

Or has Pauno ridden the coat-tails of what Bowen put in motion? Telling that the first 8 games were the best.

Perfect lockdown season when looked objectively across the season.

We’ve not missed physically witnessing Reading breaking their Play Off hoodoo!

And we won’t have gone from physically watching us get beaten regularly in the Champ, to watching us getting spanked in the Prem.

We’re due being able to go to games and see us win...hopefully we’ll be able to build on this positive season and improve in the next few years
