Really shocked this is seemingly going to be so poorly attended. I know the club in recent times have let the supporters down very badly on and off the pitch but you'd think that would all be forgotten in favour of seeing the group of players and managers who never let us down.

Only the John Madejski Stand and the Lower West Stand are open for tickets and they are far from sold out. The other stands are not being used. Unless a lot of people pay on the day this will be very poorly attended.

A few extra additions to the line ups:

Aaron Brown (he who broke his leg pre season 2006/07 at Bromley)
James Henry
Lawson D’Ath
Matt Connolly
Joseph Mills
Nick Bignall

£10 today folks, £15 tomorrow (£8 Zips and kids)

Good of Macron to make specially comissioned shirts but seemingly it was impossible for them to provide replica kits from about Christmas onwards.

Anyone know what the craic will be with refreshments? BAU inside and outside the ground? Presumably will be able to have a beer in our seats?

Looking on the website now it seems a near sellout no?

:?: Neither the ED Stand or the South Stand are open for tickets nor the Upper West.
The John Madejski Stand looks around two thirds full as does the Lower West. It’s a piss poor effort from our supporters from what I can tell.

Yeah, disgraceful from our own hna fraternity (if this rallying cry thread is anything to go by)

Mouthpieces here giving it large about the ‘good ol’ days’ yet showing no interest in actually reliving them (for charidee) for one more special day.

Ian et al, see ya there

RG30
Nameless Also looking forward to it. Really hope that they are holding back announcing Harps, Sidwell and Shorey to pretty much complete the 106 line up.
How will they bulk out the McDermott side ? Will they let Tom Mc and Tom H join in as local lads ?

Not sure on Shorey but heard Harper (holiday) & Sidwell (media commitments) are both absentees along with Kitson

Friendship with Harper and Sidwell over. Now Karacan and Leigertwood is our best ever midfield pairing.

Wonder if McIntyre will get some game time with his heroes.

Where's Federici?

As a Reading supporter why would you not want to go to this? I'm as anti modern Reading FC as anyone but I can still put that aside to enjoy watching our club legends get a run out. Amazed that so many are staying away.

Well yes this is doubtless the case but you'd think this match would be a big draw. It's embarrassing.

Yes, the players, organisers and ultimately the charidee deserve better.

Hell, I’m looking forward to it regadless.
