Gus the teenage cow Which player (not a goalkeeper) had the most appearances in a Reading shirt without scoring a goal (this century)?

Accordingly to this list, Ricky Newman with 114.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Reading_F.C._players

Sorry, I was looking at league games, rather than total games.

Tyler Blackett is correct with 122.

As Newman scored 2 goals in 137 total (must've been FA Cup or League Cup).

Ricky Newman scored an absolute belter against Notts County away, from memory a left foot screamer in to the top corner. Was not long after he signed so he may well have just been on loan at the time. Must have been in the league as it would have been March time so we'd have been well out of any cups.

Having posted that I'm now doubting myself and it could have been Neil Smith that scored.

This feels unusually quick to get down to this few teams... is it just me, or would you agree?

I’ve had a look at the last few years and it seems relatively similar

We get down to a handful very quickly then have potentially one or two that get to 7/8
Rarely go further than that but Man City are already a little concerning (good job they’ve only played WHam & Bmuff)

Easy one here, most should be able to guess this.

Which player has scored most goals coming on from the bench for Reading FC this century (all competitions)?

Long did a lot of sub appearances over longer than ALF, so he'd be my back up.

Thing with the Premier League is 13 games is a third of the season so there's no way any team can avoid tricky fixtures in their first 13.
Arsenal still have Spurs, Liverpool and Man City to play in their first 12 games

West Ham first to go in the 106

Pity could be joined by United tonight and I really wanted them to be first

Not much point looking at the 106 beyond this point until at least November.
We’ll get some idea of who might think they have a chance only to fall away
