Bit of a worry how many teams can still break our 106 record this season

For someone so soft skinned when anything is said that may remotely be anything than blowing sunshine up your arse, you have a particular way of rubbing a lot of people up the wrong way

For those of us that find it interesting, we’ll keep an eye on it
For those that don’t, feel free to ignore it

Someone's sensitive, and presumably identifies with panicking about the record going each October, otherwise what's to get upset about.

The thread can be both interesting (later in the season when it's actually involving teams being ticked off or someone threatening it) and also be populated ridiculously early by people worrying about the record going because a fashionable or big club has had a good start.

Ah, this is the bit where someone unironically and incorrectly complains I'm saying people can't hold an opinion that's different to mine, when all I've done is express a different opinion to theirs which they don't like and are saying I can't have, like massive, not very bright, hypocrites. Right?

Everything all right at home chaps? You seem a little upset.

The thread does start of as a 13 wins thread and then tends to hibernate until the new year and mutates into a 106 thread. Not usually any October knicker pissing in sight.

I enjoy this thread specifically because it reaffirms every year how good those two records really are
Given the standard of football we are being served with recently, a touch of nostalgia goes a long way

As someone who was there in the 80s, it's nice to remember rhe high points of what could be a dour and unpleasant decade where the main talking point of a trip to Craven Cottage was whether the boys in Blue were going to eject women or old men rather than the rather tough looking knuckle draggers doing Nazi salutes at the back of the terrace.

Yeah, I was wondering if maybe Ian didn't realise we've got more than one record worth tracking?

Still, it's got him a bit of attention so job done

From Despair To Where? The race to 13.

Let's ignore the Premier League for a week

Championship
Blackburn
Watford

Both teams' next fixture is against West Brom

League 1
Peterborough

League 2

Walsall
Crewe
Leyton Orient
Barrow
Stevenage

Walsall vs Stevanage next week

With Liverpool gone only City to worry about. Those 2 could possibly do it one year, no one else really has a chance

I saw 11 of the 13 games 85/86 and we really rode our luck that year
