bloody hell 4-2. One of the best games I've seen this season. Bannon must be wondering how he is on the losing side.

So Wednesday need to win all their remaining fixtures to beat the record and Burnley need to win 8 of 9. They have Middlesbrough (A) and Sheffield Utd (H) in their next 3 fixtures.

The most points scored in the national league is 105 by Crawley in 10/11

Putting the football league/national league issue on one side for a minute, Wrexham would still need 4 wins and a draw from their last 6 to overtake 106.

Good point, until you realise they've got 8 games left

Thank you corrected with 8 games left that's even more achievable.

Meanwhile it's not nice to see Reading trying to break the "who can survive in the Championship with the least amount of points" record again.

If you're looking in non league, Darlington got 122pts from a 46 game season in 2012/13. Spennymoor were runners up with 109pts.

I think it makes sense to talk about the professional game. The conference isn't fully professional.

NathStPaul The thick racist doesn't understand what the Football League is.......

The English football league system, also known as the football pyramid, is a series of interconnected leagues for men's association football clubs in England, with five teams from Wales, one from Guernsey, one from Jersey and one from the Isle of Man also competing. The system has a hierarchical format with promotion and relegation between leagues at different levels, allowing even the smallest club the theoretical possibility of ultimately rising to the very top of the system, the Premier League.

Guess you are feeling a bit thicker!
