royalp-we Might well be seeing quite a bit of Michael Craig in CM. Made the squad for a couple of Spurs Europa League games last year.

5 weeks to go and the lack of incoming bodies is making Twatter implode has you would expect.

I have high hopes for Craig especially as Southampton had reportedly been after him. Apparently, he has a twin brother.

I found this about Clarke but it doesn’t say too much. Given our lack of left back options we might get to see him around the 1st team next season.

I am hoping that Camara, Dorsett and Scott can really push on this season and cement their places in the first team.

Current matchday squad something like this based on how we played last season:

......................Lumley
Yiadom, Holmes, McIntyre, Samuels
..................Tetek, Craig
Ince...........................................Ejaria
....................Meite..Joao

Subs: Andresson, Dann, Abrefa, Osorio, Camara, Melvin-Lambert, Dorsett

Assuming no Moore, Southwood or Puscas as they're not wanted.

I actually quite like the look of that line up, although you just know that Ince won’t go with two strikers up top.

The same happened to us when Pauno was here. Refused to risk our best players because they might get injured. Ultimately it cost us a play off place.

If we don’t play to the best of the abilities for the small choice of players we have available, might just cost us our Championship place!

That doesn’t look too bad. Definitely need 2 CMs, 1 CB and 1LB. I reckon 8 - 9 of our starting 11 would definitely get in the starting 11 of several other Championship teams.

Yeah, midfield is a car crash. I think we're actually ok on CBs. Dorsett, Abbey and Stickland all have potential. I'd prefer someone else to Dann, but I think +1 would be too many and block Dorsett. Just ship Moore out and gravy.

Think we need at least 3 CMs and the LB

2 new CMs and a LB and we have a first 11 that might get some results. Maybe get another winger in and play Ejaria as one of the CMs. I know you have a distaste for him but he posts quite good interception numbers.

Think it's nailed on that Dann would start ahead of Samuels with McIntyre pushed to left back.

Yeah but he'll get injured first game. Let's be realistic.

Probably... but trying to stick to players in their preferred positions.

We need at least 1 Cb with any resemblance of pace…which we don’t currently have

Tis baffling that Ilori was once considered to be a top young prospect yet at 29 has only played 120 odd games and over half of them were for us in a 3 year period.

I say we bring him back for the lolz.

It's not really gone well for him. There was a player there. Just too casual.

If I was to pick my best position it would be RB or DM. Well, not in the squad is my best position obviously, but if I had to play.

My football brain is much better than my skill.

One of those footballers that look like they defaulted into it rather than wanted it badly.

I also enjoy playing DM btw in response to your previous statement. Great fun!
