Bout time!

When I see Horsemen I just think about awful school trips.

I actually went on one of the old team coaches on a school trip down to Bognor when I was in year 7. Had the tables, like you see on the players coaches, and a pennant saying that it was a team coach. I was quite excited

I wish! It would have made the trip to Swanage way more entertaining.

Whatever you think about the names appointed, it does feel like there is some decisive decision making being made and a proper stucture put in place which will stand the club in good stead whatever division we start 23/24 in.

Much as I am in favour of the new structure, I hope we can afford all these appointments. Do they count towards FFP, does anyone know?

I am just worried that we’ll end up with more coaches than players, lol.

Underwhelming but expected.

Everything is almost in place now ready for Ince's sacking in November, and Bowen to appoint himself as Manager... again.

I think they will count as part of the club running costs unless they are Academy coaches. I don’t think they will be part of the salary budget under our agreed settlement.

I'd really like to see the detailed roles and responsibilities of all these new appointees.

Where does Niedzwiecki fit in? Is he going to head up the academy? If so, where does this leave Gilkes? How many bosses/managers do you need (and even more importantly, can we afford) for the academy?

In Pauno’s defence he really had very little support with a non existent structure at the club. In that respect I felt for him. We now seem a bit top heavy.

Think he had at least as many coaches as Ince there. The guy was useless and his team were unprofessional.

He had a lot of coaches but zero support from above. But he was a poor manager certainly

I don’t think that looks too heavy at all. The academy coaches are focussed on getting the best out of one of our most impt assets (they won’t be paid tons either)

Then Ince, his right hand man and a fresh new coach in charge of the first team

Bowen, his trusted mate assisting him and someone looking after recruitment on the general running of the club

That’s a proper structure finally with some accountability

Let's hope it actually has agency. Because the real problem is still in charge.

Agreed.

Believe Gilkes is the overall head of the Academy. Hunt in charge of the U23s and transitioning those to the first team. Ledge co-runs U18s.
