That, or they take him out completely to avoid any risk of injury.

Don’t think it’s a Puscas situation - sure they’d rather not sell tbh

8-10m seems very low for him. Really rate him. When you see some of the shite costing 15-20m. Know he’s a bit untested but surely better than Dennis or Pedro at Watford

Last year of his deal though, always get lower bids for a player who can walk for free next summer. A club may be willing to pay half his market value but if that doesn't work, then they'll be willing to wait.

Yes sorry get why he’s lower - they were talking 20m at points last year

More I can’t understand why he hasn’t been snapped up for that yet if that’s the ballpark they are considering

Shows how far we have fallen that most of the discussion around this game is based around hoping the other team's forward is unavailable to play.

Even without him they will beat us comfortably.

We won't be a force until October.

Suspect there were very similar conversations back in 2006....

Is there any chance of all this dry weather followed by a massive downpour is going to affect the pitch? I know it has good drainage so probably not.

No. We are playing at the Select Car Leasing Stadium, not Hackney Marshes.

Disagree - they are in a false position like we were two years ago. All goals are individual brilliance.

So, as long as we don’t hand them goals we will be fine……oh dear

Yeo hopeful. Thought Meite might make it but surprised to see Joao. But good news of course

And Ince and Hendrick both fit to start

So , no change from our team thrashed last Saturday by relegation candidates Rotherham.
That regrettably sums up our position as surely, in other more normal times, there would have been a change or two. but we (have to) carry on with the same defence yet again.

Difficult times indeed and Sarr better be good if and when he ever plays.

Right I thought the Sarr deal wasn’t over the line because of financial reasons. We needed Puscas wages off the books. No, Dellor just said it’s because of the squad size, we are only allowed 25. And we are at 25 already. So it’s very much much one in one out then. So not sure how this premier league left back we’ve been touted as being interested in works then.
