NewCorkSeth Sooo NGW is playing LB and LW?

See edited post above.

Ah I see. So kinda like a back 3 but from someone who plays too much FM.

Call it a fluid shape that transitions between a 3, 4 and 5 in defence, pivoting around a midfield trio in an inverted 'V'

CountryRoyal I just don’t get why we don’t always play like this. Teams aren’t good enough in this division to play out from the back. Teams have been stopping us from doing it for years.

Tbf of the managers that tried it I don’t recall any being good managers, just look at the state of their careers. Might be a different story if they were actually coached properly.

I get what you’re saying but if the press is intense enough then the players just don’t have the technical ability to play as quickly as they need to consistently play out from back. Most of the prem don’t either. Any dickhead can sprint at a player on the edge of their box though.

Oh yeah, beating the press is definitely not an easy thing to do. That’s when the manager has to change things up when it’s not going to plan. We’ve been very hard done by managers who live or die by their tactics in recent years I feel.

That's the best save Lumley has made this season.

TBF, the ref didn't give a foul when someone went straight through the back of Long, so consistent

Really nice to see Long and their keeper have a little mutual love in for the shot and save before the corner.

Hoilett has oxf*rd buried that.

Miles out from a narrow angle. He's got no right to score from there. Keeper no hope.

Need him to do that every time instead of crossing it out of play.
