YorkshireRoyal99 I might be missing something pretty obvious but, will aspects like performance-related bonuses i.e. appearance fees, count towards any of our restrictions? Or is it just merely another cost that goes against the club's accounts when they are released?

That might be something that restricts Moore's appearances, if he is earning a sizeable appearance fee.

Yes, their whole salary has to be taken into account.
I’ve never really understood how this can be done fairly. Presumably we will have had to assume players will earn the maximum additional payments possible, which means we will almost certainly come in under budget. In that case Moore earning some appearance money shoukd already be factored in to our agreed budget.
As ever wehave no idea what certain players actually earn and how it is split between basic wage and performance based. Moore may have been on a fairly small basic for the last year if his reported salary has a big performance element.

I don't really see how the maximum additional payments would be possible because what happens in the events of goals bonuses, such as if Joao scores 15 goals this season he will earn x. I don't really think you can include something that hasn't happened. Surely it's just got to a case of weekly meetings to see where the club is at in respect to the budgets we need to stick by for the season.

I've always thought the assumption was that Moore was earning a basic wage of around £30k a week and anything else is added on top of that, although as you say, I suppose it's just an assumption.

Obviously you have to include stuff that hasn’t happened. If our budget is limited to a specific amount and if we exceed that we get a points deduction we cannot let ourselves get in the position of performance bonuses tipping us over the limit. It’s perfectly doable, but woukd mean we’ve had even less to spend on basic salaries than perhaps some assumed.

Snowflake Royal ...................Bouzanis
...........Abbey, Dann, Sarr
Abrefa, Mbengue, Hendrick, NGW
.......................Ejaria
.................Long......Joao

CBC, McIntyre, Loum, Ince, Ehib, Camara, Hutch

Good shout on Abrefa, i like this kid and RWB is his natural position. Would bring Azeez in for Ejaria and would like to see Ehib up top with long.
I had this down as a defeat as always in the cup but i understand Watford are having a real tough time with injuries, so may be a lot closer than expected.
Would love to see a good cup run, i'm old school and the FA Cup was the most anticipated games of the season. I still remember playing Oxford at home in the cup and they were top of the league at the time and there was over 14,000 crammed into the old girl (Elm Park) that day. That atmosphere was just electric.

Would like to see us give it a go in the cup this year. The fact that right now we have a decent cushion to the bottom 3 and a decent sized squad with few injury concerns I think means we should put out a half-decent team tomorrow, resting only those who have played every minute recently. Added to that, would imagine with Watford's injury issues they will rest who they can, so we should give this a go. Would love a cup run

Take it that's your preferred team? No Ejaria and Moore will be involved I believe Ince has confirmed.

Inshallah!

There will be 1 minute’s applause before the game and the players of both clubs will wear black armbands as a mark of respect for Italian hero and former Watford manager Gianluca Vialli

Well, at lest Hutch is back. No Moore at all though. Only really Azeez and Abrefa from the younger players, but still seems to have allowed time off for Ince, Hendrick and Hoilett.

Moore injured again. Probably another month with hamstring now. Did it in training yesterday.

None. Doesn't cover the FA Cup.

I've managed to find a stream but they're commentating in Russian, the kits look different, the players look unrecognisable and it's 3-0 to somebody, although I can't work out whom. Presumably BBCRB are a few mins behind? Good game though. I'll update you when I work it out.

Good news is whichever of these teams is us, the crossing is brilliant so a major improvement there.
