Twitter is already fun today - someone claiming to be related to Wilder has stated that he has moved back to Yorkshire and has no interest in moving South again.

Adding into the mix that it is half term as well, this could be one of the funniest but cringeiest days on twitter of all time.

All true - quick look at his timeline and he regularly posts on the hashtag - normally slagging off 1871. Of course possible that a Reading fan is related to Chris Wilder but would be a fantastic coincidence.

Sutekh
ReadingGlasses Yeah, imagine the reaction if some manager we've never heard of is announced instead of Wilder.

Knowing some on here, buy a ST just to...

Didn't Norwich go on to win the league that season?

Everyone's favourite Alan Nixon claiming we need to "press for a decision" from Wilder and that he is probably waiting to see if anyone higher up the tree are interested.

So, you know, who knows.

Can't exactly blame him for that, although he'd known for a couple of weeks about the jobs that are available and I can't see many other opportunities better than us opening up now that aren't already available.

I can’t see this happening tbh. He’ll get better offers and I can see him going to Leeds.

I'm surprised Swansea didn't consider him. He does carry some baggage though. Maybe that's starting to put a few clubs off. We need to sort something asap now, so if he isn't interested, we need to move on quickly.

Not a bad punt. There's talk they want Brendan Rodgers though.

Chris Davies to Swansea. That’s the job he is most keen on.

Fits their club and what style their supporters like to watch far more than he does us. Good luck to him there.

I love how we're kidding ourselves that we're genuinely looking at a serious manager option, while Dai is probably currently considering a nobody with no champ knowledge or a player's dad. That's if he's even bothering to consider anyone at all at the moment.

Fair play to the club for trying but if he’s hanging out for better offers it doesn’t bode well. We want someone who wants to be here and who’s not going to bailout if a better offer comes in. It’s looking like James Earnshaw was right.

Rumours are that they're after John Eustace.

Oli Bryant is doing a tremendous wind up on Twitter. Reminds me of when that chap on here had the whole board on strings with that "meltdown" signing some years ago...

Is that a done deal? Talk yesterday was they were looking at Eustace, the Swansea manager.

Does seem to be an awful lot of clubs looking for new managers this summer.

Yeah I heard they were after Eustace as the manager. I think they wanted Eustace to be manager a while ago as well before they ended up with Martin and then Eustace going to Birmingham.

Definitely not a done deal just that of the summer jobs that were available/going to become available that was the job he was most keen on.

They may well appoint Eustace. Birmingham have had a takeover since the summer so likelihood is new ownership group will want own guy in place.

Seeing that guys timeline confirmed he shouldn't believed in any way.
