Listened to it yesterday, More proof that Ron Gourlay was the problem - More interested in having the chair than doing the job, Got rid of everyone at the club who knew the club and how it worked, Spent £7.5m on Aluko to show off (Brian rated the player but said money was needed for the academy and other players), Ron kept going to the training ground/in the dressing room.... Basically the reason Brian left and had he known Ron was leaving so soon after he wouldn't have quit.

Big Exclusive - He had Erik ten Hag lined up as manager but we couldn't afford the £300k contract release fee.

That's not really an exclusive, he said it in his Tilehurst End podcast interview.

Also told the story to Talksport last year.

I bet Erik is distraught at the thought of having missed out on the opportunity of managing Chris Gunter.

No 300k? Yet £1.5m to hand for Liam Moore!

I guess 1871 podcast hadn't heard those other sources

Do they have at least a rough plan of what they are going to talk about? If it seems interesting, I will listen too.

Boring. I'd rather listen more about potential replacements :)
The general news is getting pretty boring...

Sutekh Siddy on That Peter Crouch podcast.

Notorious S.I.D. as he's now known #puddingsismassive

He features in the M&S second tier Xmas ad with Crouchy and the BBQC+

Kitson got a shout out a while back when they were picking their ideal assistant managers and couching staff if they were manager, Crouch suggested Kits as Sid's no 2 and he said it was a hard no. Real personality clash between those two or maybe gingers are like hamsters and don't want to share with another one.

Peter Crouch and Steve Sidwell chatting to Colin, useful insight into why NW is such a good manager e.g. the common sense of when going into a new club looking at what you have and devising a system to suit rather than forcing every one into your preconceived ideology.
