Tbf I think IR would be a step up from the last two incumbents excluding Hunty of course.

Still Chris Wilder for me.

Garry Monk - absolutely not.
Chris Davies - Paul Clement Mk II.
Luke Williams - We don't have the patience for possession based football.
Nathan Jones - Massive pcunt.
Danny Cowley - Meh. Didn't do a great job at Pompey.
John O'Shea - No experience and nothing to suggest he's ready to be a manager.
Ian Royal - Would miss his contributions on here too much.

Wilder has just gone to 1/4 on some betting platforms again - so either a few bets coming in or someone has heard something or....well, who the hell knows.

Hoping that someone knows something then. William Hill have Mr Wilder at 1/4 on which I'm hoping is a sign of some imminent news.

Also having to slowly think every time as for some reason I keep wanting to say Chris Witcher or Gene Wilder...

Yes, I have just noticed that. My cousin has just text me to say that he’s been seen at Bearwood but I can’t believe that.

That was a rumour from a few days ago that seemed to come from 1 tweet.

Let's go even more crazy, instead of appointing an ex-player let's appoint an ex-referee, if they're all mates we should get at least one penalty per game

Is your cousin Chris Wilder and is he saying someone spotted him there? Just asking as that interpretation still works.

I'd still much prefer Wilder out of that list, he seems like he's far and away the best candidate based on reputation. Nathan Jones probably isn't too far behind but I don't think we will get him anyway.

The rest are very much "meh" appointments for me, for different reasons. I'd be interested to see how either Chris Davies or John O'Shea would do in their first managerial job and I'm always intrigued by a coach stepping into management and, with the correct support behind them, I think they could be successful.

Cowley and Monk are experienced managers who have done fairly well in their careers elsewhere, but haven't done too much that is that impressive in recent times/jobs. But they would still be ok choices.

Luke Williams I think the job might not be for him yet. Great achievement last season with Notts County, but not sure he's warranted enough to get this job yet.

Curious why Wellens is no longer on the list. He seemed a pretty good alternative to Wilder...

Chris Wilder lives at Bearwood, so no surprise if he's been spotted there.

Ian Royal and Paultheroyal joint managers it is then. I'm sure they'd get on great.

This. I can’t imagine many people are betting on this market.
