I'm Mad After the way he walked out on Man City after just 33 days in charge; I'm suprised he's lasted this long and have to say that if were to walk out on us tomorrow it would have come about 18 months too late for my liking.

You deserved to be banned for that comment alone.

18urz71 Because Lita said he wants to stay at Bristol City, and Aliaderie is on loan at Celtic. Coppell just can't attract bigger name players to the club like Pardew could. Pardew's era was about ambition and success, whereas Coppell's is about doing things on the cheap, and maintaining where we are.

sounds familiar... if on the cheap worked last year...

Does anyone think Forster will get 15 now that he's gone to Hull? I suspect that Parkinson will find that £250k turns out to be a poor investment.

Forster has 3 goals so far this season, if he stays fit til the end of the season then he might reach the magic number of 5. 8)

Royalee One other thing for those of you who believe Coppell'll do anything other than sign his old players and will venture into the Premiership to loan good young prospects from top clubs. The young exciting ambitious young fellow we have for a manager has repeatedly said he doesn't see much point in loan signings and there is too much competition from the big bad other Championship clubs for him to be able to loan anyone in. Call his opinions rubbish (and I would), but I expect he'll be sticking to them and won't attempt to sign any Owusu-Abeyie's in the near future.

Who made the better loan signings when they were here? Pardew or Coppell?

Pardew:
Salako, Watson, Hahnemann, Roberts, Upson, Chadwick, Little.

Coppell:
Owusu, Brooker, Gordon.

Very funny, you just watch the same old crowd have a moan if we have a tough season in a few months.

Looking at some of these recent posts opinions etc, some fans are taking the Premiership for granted.
We all know that Coppell and the players won't!

Given that a large number of fans were calling for Coppell's head at the time of this thread and that people were defending players such as Hughes and Goater (which were ditched after the creation of this thread, where the squad was pretty much overhauled) I think some of the comments on here are a bit rich.

The pretentiousness of some of the posters on here when looking back astounds me.

And nothing astounds me more than your desire to keep digging having made such an utter prat of your self over the last 2 years.

Have you left Bournemouth yet? It must be some other seat of education's turn for that "informed" opinion of yours :P
