AF,
you beat me to it.
I had just copied the link to post on here.

Sounds very good. Nice time to get some quality opposition to drop in on us and to see that Fejenoord will only be playing Chelsea and Middlesbro when they come.

ARE WE THAT BIG???

excellent stuff.

We were always told that it would be a "top European team".

I think we'd have 'em.

Great news! From the official Feyenoord site:

Translation anyone? :D

LOL at the Bablefish translation

FEYENOORD AGAINST CHELSEA AND READING Chelsea come to the tank. That communicates to the Feyenoord newspaper which has appeared today. The ASTRE plough of coach Jos? Mourinho play cow man on 8 augusts in Rotterdam a oefenwedstrijd against the plough of Erwin. season card holders get a discount of ten per cent for this game. Four days later Feyenoord in United Kingdom play a oefenwedstrijd against premier League promovendus Reading. Feyenoord have let incorporate in the contract with Chelsea that the London ears in the strongest possible elaboration will come forward. Starting time tip of the game is not yet certain. Feyenoord have a preference for 19.00, but wait for municipal authorisation. Feyenoord stand in august therefore an English week, wait because two days before Chelsea come to the tank, the plough of cow man plays the opening game of the season against Middlesbrough. That means a seeing meeting again weerzien with ex-Feyenoorder George Boateng.

That would be "The Tub".

We have historically played our "big" friendly the Saturday before the start of the season.
