I'm going with my son. Either that or spend the whole day at Ballet rehersals with my daughter. Tough call!

Having said that it is the first time in 2 years I have been to a game without my daughter. The last time still haunts me. I thought I had got away with going on my own, called home from the car halfway there, and was confronted by an emotional hell from a very upset girl, who knows how to tug on the heart strings. She was only 3 as well! She came everytime after that. Now when she finds her younger brother is muscling in on her terititory, i hate to think of the consequences.

But it's important as my wife is strying to make him a Liverpool supporter, so he needs the therapy.

I'm of the opinion that friendlies are a waste of time going to watch unless for instance Reading play somebody like Inter Milan that have some good international players on show.

Even that is a waste of time IMHO.

Well, that is true to a certain extent. But I can watch Reading every week when the season starts in competitive games.

Was going to go, but am not taking this risk of going all the way there, and not being able to purchase a ticket!

I'm going with my son and think daughter and wife want to come -
staying with friends for the weekend in MK.

It's a good opportunity for me to where the new away shirt as usually do not wear colours to away games so it will be a novelty for me - also not being at an away game after several pints will be a bit of a novelty :D

Does anyone know why Kitson is being rested again for this match (according to the official site?)

Why bother?

According to the OS Reading will be wearing the "navy blue third shirt" - whatever that is.

I guess it's another opportunity to sell something.
