Gary Westwood, Paul Canoville, Steve Wood, Kerry Dixon, Terry Hurlock, Kevin Bremner, Stuart Beavon ... did anyone say Martin Hicks? And what about Andy Rogers who swallowed his tongue playing for us at Swansea and was never the same player for us again.

Everyone - with maybe the exception of Tommy Burns, Mark McGhee, Alan Pardew and anyone associated with the proposed merger with Oxford twenty years ago - who has put on a Reading shirt with pride, everyone who has paid money to cheer on Reading at any time in their life, and to the families of those Supporters who have watched us suffer, moan and groan on a Saturday night ..........

TODAY IS YOUR DAY. TODAY IS THE TURN OF THE READING

Oh god - how could I forget Steve Hetzke, Gary Peters, Mark White, Bob Lenarduzzi and, above all, Steve Death among many other players.

I feel shamed not to have included in the original list Frank Orton - Mr Reading - and Maurice Evans, a real gentleman.

And all those fans past and present, living and otherwise engaged, plastic or not, who have been proud to support the Biscuitmen.

You lucky b*stards at the Mad House today.

And Fozzie.........the greatest servant of Reading FC in his time here.....I just miss those blazing runs into the opponents half, skips past the 2 centre backs as if they were 5 years olds and smashes the ball into the back of the net with the finest aplomb.

I must go and take my medication now...........
