Down to earth for the Royals as Villa turn in a solid display in O'Neill's first home game.

2-0 Villa.

I think this is just a little too early for O'Neil to have worked too much magic. They have got a great result against Arsenal, we have found our confidence and should go at them hell for leather.

1-2
Lita, Harper

some Villa chappie for them

iang040563 Sorry guys, but with the second best manager in Britain at the helm, we can see that Villa are now rejuvenated under martin O'neill. Their performance against the Champions League finallists was admittedly lucky at times, but dogged and fighting, and with home advantage I think they will be too much for our defence.

Aston Villa 3 Reading 0 - but I hope I am wrong

i agree - he is Villas best signing and under oleary and the probs off pitch i thought we stood a brilliant chance.....now i think we stand a good chance....however i think he wont have sorted their probs out for at least another month

Villa 1 Angel Royals 2 Sidwell, Doyle

If we can get one early we'll go on to get more, but the longer we go without scoring, the harder it will get.

Villa play with men behind the ball and don't offer a great deal going forward, so if we can snatch one in the opening 20 minutes they'll have to come out which will suit our game.

2-1 to the mighty Royals.

Jackson Corner 3-1 Villa hope I'm wrong :(

I'll go with that too. A fighting performance from the Royals as we push forward to try claim the equaliser at 2-1, only to be hit on the break in the 89th minute for a 3-1 defeat.

A draw would be a great result for a first away trip.

It's weird, but I think we'll miss Kitson more for his ability to come back and add some height when defending set pieces. I can see them being a threat from dead ball situations.

1-1

FootyMad FootyMad's prediction:
Villans go into their game against Reading in confident mood, but FootyMad sees them coming down to earth, with the visitors narrowly taking all three points. Away win.

Who am I to argue!

Villa 1 - 2 Royals
Lita 15, Angel 32, Doyle 60

"Not my words Lynn...
... the words of 'FootyMad'!"

Now, usually I wouldn't have taken much notice - but they've been right before...

FootyMad FootyMad's prediction Reading v Boro:
Reading may be coming up against a decent side in Middlesbrough, but I do believe that its going to result in a narrow home win for the Royals. Home Win.

 :o :) :D  G'warn 'en UUUURRRRZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!
