Third place bekons and I have total confidence we will be there on Wednesday night, if my memory serves me right I think we have lost there twice in the past 4-0, but the shoe is on the other foot now and I can see us taking a comfortable victory !!

Newcastle 0-2 Reading (Sidwell & Doyle)

Newcastle have only scored nine goals this season. They are hardly likely to hit a hatful against a side that has only let in one goal in the past four games.

'Jingle Bells, jingle Bells,
Jingle all the way.
Oh what fun it is to see,
The Royals win away'

1 - 2. Doyler with both.

Newcastle 0 - 1 Reading,
O.g Bramble (22)

50% of reading fans to not really see the goal because of the distance from the pitch and the haze of drinking for the 6hr journey

"Injury woe for Reading: Newcastle defender Titus Bramble will miss Wednesday night's clash between the two sides..."

On that basis....

Newcastle 1 (Siberski 77)
Reading 1 (Seol 14)

I don't fancy this at all. But then I've got both the Fulham and Bolton predictions wrong so I'll go for the hattrick NUFC 1 - Reading 0.

Newcastle 1
Reading 3

2 first half goals - 1 from Doyler and second a well deserved belter from Harper. Martins pulls one back for the Toon just after half time but an almost immediate response ending in a tap-in from Sidders pushes us up to 3rd!

either 2-0 or 2-1 to Reading.

Doyle again, plus a free header for Sonko from a corner cos Titus Bramble thought he was told to mark Stephen Hunt........
