Missing Person Help: John Halls

by RG30 » 29 Dec 2006 21:16

Last I heard he was injured but haven't heard anything since. With the transfer window opening Monday, I would be amazed if he hadn't left us come Febuary.

Back fit and in training. Hasn't really worked out for him so far, only thing I would say that the others have been given a chance in Murty's absence, Halls was a bit unlucky that he was injured at the same time, would say that he deserved a chance at least.

I feel sorry for him. Why was he bought? If he wasn't good enough to play for the first team, even as a substitute, what was the point?

He would have surely been better off going to Colchester or Southend or Wycombe............or Watford?

2 abiding memories of John Halls (for when he leaves):

1) He is so shite.

2) The pure hilarity of him scoring against Stoke..

Because he seemed a good prospect.

But he's a lazy git who can't be bothered and just sits on the wage packet enjoying himself.

Convey : - Good

Oster : - Good enough for a place on the bench and if Little gets injured.

Sonko : - Our defensive line will probably get replaced in the next few years. But he's doing alright.

What's the relevance though?

Which would be why he's gone no where in the club.

Convey: "Waste of space" WHEN he got here.

Oster: Everyones views of him WAS shit... Until this season.

Sonko: Messy oxf*rd when he joined.

Now...

We're asking about John Halls. Have trust in the management.

Coppell took chances signing Dave Kitson, Kevin Doyle, Imbrahima Sonko, John Halls....plus others.

Some of these gambles pay off, some don't. As long as the ones that do outweigh the ones that don't it's a good policy.

I guess we'll see how good he's gotten when he plays against Burnley.

No so long as the fans keep paying money then the club is ok, too many wasted signings and we will be back in trouble again, ask Leeds.

from that list halls is the only "wasted" signing. and kevin doyle has been turned in to much more money to make up for it. if we continue at this rate, we'll be fine.
