It's usually those sports 'journalists' who criticise Reading that come up with this Paul Kitson nonsence. They don't know what they're doing

I heard it too. How professionals cannot say the correct name of one of a Prem team's top players is beyond me

Perhaps they are doing it to get under the skin of you people who get so wound up about this kind of thing.

BEHEAD ALL THOSE WHO GET THE NAMES OF READING PLAYERS WRONG

It's a f*cking outrage I tell thee.

I shall be writing a stiff letter to Hilary Scott. On cardboard.

I totally agree that the two things are comparable, especially after that massive, organised demonstration we held outside SSN headquarters.

Do we really have to have a new thread every time someone in the media ever mis-spells or gets a player's name wrong?

It's not even like Paul Kitson was one of the greatest players in history, he was a fairly average premiership striker from the 1990s

Perhaps we should have a n "Incorrect name/spelling" forum where we can report all of these mistakes. :P

Another one for those whose blood is likely to boil at the slightest slight on our name.

SSN's morning poll is asking viewers who they think will win this season's FA Cup.

There are 8 nominees. We're not 1 of them.

That did make me chuckle actually - they put Bolton and Arsenal in the poll with aren't even in Rd 5 yet but not us.

11 Premiership teams are in the draw. (including replays). That means 3 premiership teams weren't considered.
So we are not the only team the media give little respect to then?

But we are the highest placed club that they have ruthlessly and unforgiveably snubbed.

Only Chelsea , Man Utd & 1 team from Arsenal/Bolton are higher ranked than us.

I maintain heads should roll , questions should be asked in Parliament and Rupert Murdoch should be made to make a grovelling public apology................. in a dress.

The biggest offence is the press saying Neil Warnock instead of Colin.

Sort it out!
