Why are some people on this forum so negative

Although I have never posted before I am a long time Reading fan and have attended most matches for years - so please don't call me a newbie or plastic after what I am about to say.

Although I often read the comments on here I have not posted before because I am often appalled by the rubbish being spouted by so called fans. About 50% of people who post are supportive of the club, management and players but the other half seem to take every opportunity to run down and be negative about everything to do with the club.

I know football is about opinions but some of you really need to grasp a reality check and realise how lucky true fans of RFC are. We have a great club, an excellent Chairman, one of the best manangement teams in the Premiership and some fantastic players that were largely bought for peanuts.

All I see are moans about Coppell not buying enough players, us not spending £50M on new players and not paying enough wages as well as being doomed to certain relegation.

Well I for one think we are in better shape as a squad than we were last summer - our players are better prepared and we have just beaten Lyon. I believe we will have a great second season and finish mid table again.

Come on guys SUPPORT the team.

Well I for one think we are in better shape as a squad than we were last summer - our players are better prepared and we have just beaten Lyon. I believe we will have a great second season and finish mid table again.

I disagree, you can't stand still. Without further investment I personally think teams will know us more and the likes of Doyle and Lita will struggle to match last seasons goal tally.

That isn't a moan, it's my honest opinion. However I don't think we'll get relegated, but I want the club to be pushing for Europe and the FA Cup this year.

I think we do. Many people offer constructive criticism. Just because we've had a good 5 / 10 years doesn't mean those in charge / the players can rest on their laurels. We expect them to keep on being excellent (but we also recognise how far we've come).

What happens next is more important than what happens before.

Methinks you will see those kind of stats in all walks of life.
Had you said 90% are negative then maybe cause for concern. This is more like a Marmite vote.

Anyway, sleep easy at night. You know where you stand and that's what matters. the 50/50 brings discussion - perhaps we could have a forum, oh we do..
