Upper West Ginger In the League match at Old Trafford last December, didn't we have a 5-man midfield with Doyle playing on the right, and Lita as a lone striker? A similar effort to flood the midfield could produce a decent result for us.

I'll say 1-1 (and be more than happy if we manage to get a point).

I like the idea of trying to flood the midfield and frustrate them in that way. However thats how we played them at home in the cup for the first 6 mins.

Then we went to 4-4-2 and won the rest of the game.

I'll go for an exciting 3-1 to United. They score 2 in the first 15, we roar back into it scoring just before half time. Hit the post twice in the first 10 mins of the second half and then they put their foot on the ball and kill the game by scoring a third in the 80th

Ronaldo, Ferdinand, Rooney.
Harper.

United to win 2-0.

1st goal mid-way through the first half, second to come in the last 5.

Quite possible except the last bit. He'll only be out if he walks, which I don't think he will.

Ian Royal I like the idea of trying to flood the midfield and frustrate them in that way.
Shrewsbury used to do that and Tewkesbury went a bit over the top this year.

Cue shouts of "Bring on the sub".

Coat. Get.

IIRC it was higher that used to do the RefWatch threads last season (and very good they were too). Don't know if he'll still be doing them this season or not.

Appointments for the Football League and Carling Cup were announced on Monday, but I still haven't seen anything for the Premier League yet.
