Archie's penalty This is incredibly depressing - this is like 1997-8...

Ups and Downs Fae's not doing much in the middle. Is "being by-passed" according to Gooding, in both defence and attack. Though he can't be alone.

leon i'm not saying that i necessarily disagree we shoudl have replaced sidwell and littlw. its just every time we go down you start jumping up and down saying 'told you so...look at me, look at me' It's tiresome

It works both ways. What I personally find tiresome is being shot down as a 'negative pessamistic miserable bastard' every time I comment after games about problems at Reading. A lot of fans on here have been telling us that 'things are going to get better' for a long time now.

So yes, 'I told you so'.

I don't get this whole we are guaranteed relegation and whipping boys comments. If we were bottom and not in touch then fair enough. But we're not. We're in deep trouble, but seeing as none of us can actually affect anything why all the pointless doom saying we haven't got a chance.

We have plenty of chance of staying up. Hope for the best and enjoy what you can while you can. Wallowing in misery isn't going to help anyone.

I don't think anyone has said it is guaranteed. I think we will go down. It will certainly require massive changes for us not to. My concern at the moment is that we will be bottom three in January, and low on morale and confidence. I don't personally think we will have any way back from there.

It's all still very might be though isn't it. It's just as might be that we could win a few and stay outside relegation. Writing off Sonko on his first start against a good team is stupidly negative. We're still playing wirthout two wingers. We're likely to see an improvement when we can start playing two again.

Frankly having seen us get relegated from Div 1 and then hang around the bottom of two I don't see what all the problem is. We've looked far worse and stayed up before.

I'm still enjoying being in the premiership. Thanks very much.

So am I, and I want to stay here. I fear for this club if it were relegated. We know Madejski wants out.

As for Sonko, we were 3-0 down after half an hour! It is fair to say, already, that his return has had no impact.

I think the comment about the wingers is a bit naive. It's another 'it'll get better when.....'

When exactly?!

Not really - I remember going to away games and knowing we were going to get whacked - it's beginning to be the same now. Of course I love being in the premiership. Losing ruins my day...

Whats the point? Still 3 for those that are relying on this for the score.

when we can actually field a team with some balance. Anyone who thought that Sonko would solve everything is a moron. You can't exect him to make all the difference when he's not up to speed.

Basically no one is going to come in and solve things. Coppell has turned things around majoryly before and our players have it in them. I have no fears of Madj just selling up and legging it if we get relegated either.

We're still in a million times better position than we've ever been before with the exception of last season.
