winchester_royal hows sonko and fae playing anyone?

Fae - Rubbish! Not getting the ball and not interested in going looking.
Sonko- Up against it but seems to be putting himself about.

rob the royal oh no. we're losing 3-0 away to a superior team playing a system we practically never play. hopefully if results go our way this won't matter too much, but results aren't always going to go our way, and when that happens and we end up right down the bottom yeah it may be time to panic. for now i'm not going to panic, i'm just not very pleased!!!

Fulham down to 10 men, Middlesbrough and Birmingham behind, and Wigan level with Pompey. Things are going our way at the moment.

Ian Royal when we can actually field a team with some balance. Anyone who thought that Sonko would solve everything is a moron. You can't exect him to make all the difference when he's not up to speed.

A right-winger on the right, Hunt on the left, which is where he has played for a couple of years, the two central midfielders everyone wanted, and an extra defender at what is a tough away ground.

What is so worrying is that I don't think many fans would have approached today's game any differently, and yet the players are quite clearly not up to the task.

It is very strange - I have been a supporter of Fae in the past but he has been terrible in the first half. I wouldn't bring on Gunnarsson though - give Fae the whole game to turn things round. Bikey has been ok and Sonko not too bad but Duberry has been shite. I would bring on Ingi for Duberry and see how that works. Face it we are not coming back in this one so we might as well experiment a bit. I'd also like to see Lita coming on at some point and pushing Blackburn back...

hopefully we'll still be alright by the end of the day. but as i say we can't get away with this much longer, and conceding so many goals is a real killer for confidence.

So we still won't be in the bottom three, not bad for a team who are supposed to be the whipping boys of the prem... not your comment I hasten to add.

Its the gray shirts! we're the new Man Utd! see when you say it like that it doesn't seem so bad.

I think two last minute winners at home to Wigan and Derby are masking just how poor we have been this season.

We conceded 3 or more goals 5 times last season. We are already on 4 this time around, with Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs all still to play twice, but United and Chelsea once.

what depresses me is that the plan was obviously that with 5 in midfield u probably won't get hammered so confidence won't be too badly hit if u do lose 1-0 or maybe 2-0. but we're 3 down at half time!

Im watching the game. Sure he's not exactly controlling the game but Blackburn are playing excellently through the midfield and Bikey and Harper aren't really doing much either. When Fae does get the ball he looks pretty decent, certainly got a bit of pace.
