Spurs - 5th Jan 2008 FA Cup Round 3 - prediction thread

by Barry the bird boggler » 02 Jan 2008 07:13

So its back to White Hart lane on Saturday for our annual excursion into the FA Cup.

Quite thankfully SC will rest nearly all the '1st team' for this one and, no doubt, we'll be likely to romp to an easy win :?

So who's going to play..... well I think it will be something along the lines of

Federici
Rosenior
Duberry
Bikey
De La Cruz
Henry
Cisse
Fae
Hunt
Long
Lita

Overall though, Ramos is likely to play as full strength a team as possible as he'll see the FA Cup as something winnable for them and while it won't be a repeat of last week we're likely to crash to a heavier defeat

Spurs 3 v 0 Reading

Ref is Mark Clattenburg

We'll win this 2-1.

I can safely say Spurs will not take any points off us in this game.

If Lita does not play then he is definitely off, so that will be an interesting one. Team for me if available

A Fed
DLC
Doobs/Bennett
Pearce/Bikey
Rosenior
Henry
Fae
Cisse
Convey
Long
Cox/Lita

Subs

Stack/Andersen
Golbourne
Brown
Kanu
Bozanic/Illugason

We might as well take full opportunity of resting our first XI

God I hope he plays Henry. Been waiting too long for the kid to play and I'd like to see him.

I kind of hope that Bennett or Pearce plays instead of Doobs.

Can we play a player that's out on loan? Or are Bennett, Henry et al's loans all finishing this week?

Spurs will care about the result and Reading will not. Coppell will blood the reserves, and Reading will be on the short end of a 4-0 thumping.

I don't think Coppell will play any of the players off to the ANC so don't expect to see Fae or Bikey as we need to play a team that will be semi used to each other so i expect

Federici
Rosenior
De La Cruz
Inigimarsson
Duberry
Henry
Convey
Gunnnarsson
Cisse
Long
Lita

Subs:
Hahnemann
Pearce
Harper
Doyle
Robson Kanu

Tottenham Hotspur (3) 6

Reading (0) 1

Attendence: Mostly laughing at Reading fans.

Nor mine. But neither has my mate who is a Spurs ST holder. They must be slacking after their Xmas feed.

My prediction: PAIN

3-0 spurs
