2 starts in a row and he scores.

Can't ask for much more than that. THought him and Doyle caused problems, that should give them a bit of confidence. Doyle espcially seemed to raise his game in the second half.

He may well prove to be good enough. He is still young and learning and IMO has been playing well off the bench in recent weeks and has scored today. Not sure what you are expecting of him. He is not Fernando Torres but is nonetheless a decent prospect and becoming a handful for opposition defenders. It might help if he gets a decent run in the side although this will be tough on Kitson.

I like Long because ...

... he tries to score goals rather than win penalties.

... he is modest and comes across as a genuinely nice lad.

... doesn't video himself having sex with his mobile.

What does he use if he doesn't use his mobile? A camcorder?

Absolutely. I've admittedly never been a huge fan of Long, thinking he was only brought over to keep Doyle company. Despite him coming off the bench a couple of times to score. I dont' know. Maybe it's because he looks like a kid.

But I have to say you're spot on about "Doyle and him". It seems certainly after the goal these guys were really forming a formidable partnership. Very impressed with the two together.
