Alan Partridge a congregation for the RTG's to lick their wounds and get ready for the next challenge ahead.

not sure what that means

i dont agree with a lot of things around the club, but i will never stop supporting the club or stop being excited to see us play

whatever the standard, whoever the players are you cant beat watching your team

What will be, will be during the summer months.

Clean slate on August 10th and regardless of what team lines up until they are actually in the heat of battle none of us know how well they will do, so yes I'm excited by the new season.

Yep still excited,

OK I liked Kits and he is a great scorer but he is injury prone and personally I think Lita and Doyle is a better combination and perhaps we'll get to seemore of Shane this season, a Championship club only needs three strikers and Kits is far more likely to have a knee go than the other three, I think he'll be out of the game for half the season anyway

Not upset about Glen going at all, he is without doubt a most talented player but he is a real "sicknote" character and we are better off without him, that opens up a genuine first team place for a new winger.

We have (or are reported to have) 5.5 M in the bank, the wage bill has gone down signifiantly with little and Kits gone expect a few really good signings in the next few weeks and some great football at the Madstadt this year.

Haven't had too much of an injury list recently and the two main offenders have now gone. Why shouldn't we be optimistic!

Things to look forward to:
More games;
more games we can win;
The championiship on ITV;
Worse goalkeeping;
Worse refereeing;
We might actually sign somebody good;
Not being the second-worst team in the division;
amusing moaning from team board idiots

juanpablo Im as up for this season as any i can remember...

ok Little and Kitson have gone but hopefully we have some new youngsters in...

I believe Marek has the potential to do great things and ive been hearing great stuff from Millwall fans about Jem....

I know everyone is worried about us not bringing anybody in but imo even if we lose a couple we will be ok. If Shorey goes Roseniors best season ever for Fulham was at left back.

murty, ingimarson, dube's , Rosenior seems fine to me

henry\kebe(i honestly believe we need and will buy a rm) marek, bikey , convey\hunt

long , doyle, lita (and im sure a youngster can step up)

thats a good core of players add people like cisse who should be ok at this level.....

imo we need a right winger and a centre mid if harps goes... A lot of Championship sides would like our squad especially the front line. Like Lita or not he is going to bang them in next year FACT

Im so up for this season, i will be able to make many more away days aswell

good times

YES!!!!! I agree, but questions remain on whether we'll still have these lot in August.

I'm really looking forward to the season. £440 spare in my pocket to spend in the shops on some of the 23 new free weekends I've found. Skillz.

Still excited and optimistic about the season. We had Kitson for the best years of his career and made a nice profit. The good news is more of Leroy Lita, who I think will really shine as the primary striker at this level. Roll on to Forest!

Definitely excited, anxious, clueless about what the season will bring. I just wish it would start.

I'm down.

In the past three years, I've thought "I don't have a favourite player, I love them all, even Jimmy, Seol, Eric and Leroy". Now I've realised I had 2 favourite players, Little and Kitson.

I have three reasons to be happy though.

1. Marek. He will rip up this league.

2. Bikey. Who's better, him or Sonko last time around?

3. The youngsters. I really hope Pearce, Henry, Karacan and maybe more can break into the first team and shine.

Dissapointed by the departure of Kitson and getting a little nervous, but really really looking forward to this season.

I think I might make a decent amount of games and the Championship/division 1 is always exciting and interesting even when you're doing piss poor.

If I didn't get excited at the start of a season I really wouldn't see the point of going to games or following th eclub anymore. I'm not into self flagellation. I'd much rather get a pretty girl to do that to me.

Oddly I'm more excited about this season that last. I had no ethusiasm at all for last season, even though I didn't think we'd go down. I just thought it'd be boring, and it was.

I don't expect us to go up this year. In fact I fully expect us to not go up, but I think we'll be there or thereabouts in the top half, winning more than we lose, and that means I'll go home happy more often than I go home miserable. No more sitting there listening to aways fans take the piss well into the second half, and trying to remember of we've had a shot on target yet.
